Overview
This conference is organized to provide an overview of recent updates and discuss practical issues surrounding the delivery of state-of-the-art neuroscience care. Through formal lectures, case presentations, and interactive discussions, this neuroscience conference will explore critical issues surrounding the assessment, management, treatment, and prognosis of various neurological conditions in the acute, sub-acute and non-acute settings.
Educational Objectives
- Identify best practices in acute and post-acute treatment for neurological conditions
- Review the role of multidisciplinary care in the acute setting
- Appraise the diverse challenges in the care of acute neurological patients from various cultural backgrounds
Target Audience
This course is designed to meet the educational needs of advanced practice nurse practitioners or clinical nurse specialists, and registered nurses with a special interest in acute neurological management and treatment.
ACCREDITATION STATEMENT FOR CEU:
PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital is an approved provider for continuing education hours for Nursing through the California Board of Registered Nursing, BRN Provider Number 00261. 8.0 hours of continuing education will be provided for the full day of attendance.
