PGY-1 Intern Year
- Inpatient Medicine: 4 Months
- Night Block: 1 Month
- Surgery: 1 Month
- Labor & Delivery: 2 Months
- ER: 1 Month
- Outpatient Pediatrics: 1 Month (Central Neighborhood Health Foundation-FQHC, Inglewood)
- Inpatient Pediatrics: 1 Month (MemorialCare Millers Children’s Hospital, Long Beach)
- Outpatient Family Practice: 1 Month
- Elective: 1 Month
PGY-2
- ER: 1 Month
- Women’s Health: 1 Month
- Geriatrics: 1 Month
- Outpatient Pediatrics: 1 Month (Central Neighborhood Medical Group-FQHC, Los Angeles)
- Inpatient Pediatrics: 1 Month (MemorialCare Millers Children’s Hospital, Long Beach)
- ICU: 1 Month
- Dermatology: 1 Month
- Night Block: 1 Month
- Sports Medicine: 1 Month

Didactics
The Residency has an extensive didactic lecture training series. Lectures are provided by PIH health faculty and specialist attendings, occasionally by visiting lecturers and clinicians from around the eh country.
