Urgent Care
If you have a minor illness or injury, walk in to a PIH Health urgent care clinic for timely treatment—no appointment needed.
Locations and Wait Times
Conditions We Treat
In urgent care, a health professional can test and treat you or your child for conditions such as:
- Animal bites
- Asthma
- Broken bones
- Burns (minor)
- Cold and flu symptoms
- Coughs
- Cuts and bruises
- Headaches
- Infections
- Sprains and strains
- Stomach or abdominal pain
- Urinary tract infections
Lab & Imaging Tests
At all urgent care locations, you’ll find convenient, onsite lab and X-ray testing. You can stay at one clinic for a timely diagnosis.
Sports Physicals
Bring your child to urgent care for a sports physical to make sure they’re healthy enough for athletic activity. Cost is $25 cash payment. Insurance does not cover sports physicals, which are different than an annual well check physical.
Importance of Primary Care
Your primary care provider (PCP) is usually your best choice for treatment of common medical concerns. That’s because your PCP knows your full health history and can give you the most personalized care. But urgent care offers an option if your doctor isn’t available right away.
If you don’t have a primary care provider, search for a PIH Health doctor who meets your needs.
Urgent Care vs. Emergency Room
Urgent care offers faster, more affordable care than the emergency room for minor health concerns. But if you experience serious or life-threatening symptoms, seek emergency care immediately.
