Your Cancer Doctors
Your team of physician specialists will meet to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that fits your needs. Your team may include:
- Medical Oncologists – Provides care and help you understand your diagnosis and treatment options
- Radiation Oncologists – Uses precisely targeted radiation to treat cancer
- Pathologists – Test tissue samples to check for signs and stages of cancer
- Surgeons – Perform surgery to prevent, diagnose or treat cancer and restore your function and physical appearance after treatment
- Radiologists and interventional radiologists- reviews radiology images like MRI, CT, Ultrasound to identify as well as work together with your cancer team to destroy the cancer in your body.
Multidisciplinary Clinics and Tumor Board
You have a team of physician specialists from surgery, medical oncology, radiation therapy, pathology and radiology working with the rest of your care team to review, collaborate and recommend the best nationally recognized evidence based approach for your treatment.
Nurse Navigators
Work with our compassionate, experienced oncology nurse navigators for breast, colorectal and lung cancer throughout your cancer journey. Your nurse navigator can:
- Answer your questions
- Coordinate your care
- Explain your tests and procedures
- Help you understand your options for care
- Enable communication with your medical team
- Offer support and encouragement to you and your family
