PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital
Founded in 1885, PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital, the oldest hospital in Los Angeles, became part of PIH Health in December 2019. As a nonprofit, 408-bed acute care hospital, the downtown Los Angeles campus includes a hospital and a medical office building that provide compassionate healthcare services to meet the needs of our patients, their families and a growing and diverse community.

Patient Arrival & Parking
For your convenience, patients may be dropped off at and picked up from the hospital’s main entrance on the East-side of Witmer Street. As you enter the circular driveway, please pull forward to the designated 5 minute drop-off/pickup zone.
PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital offers both Valet Parking Service and Self-parking options.

Transportation Program
If you’re having a medical emergency and need transportation to the hospital, please call 911!
PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital offers free non-emergency transportation to and from the hospital for eligible patients. This does not include ambulance trips.
Eligible patients include seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income patients who are patients of PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital with transportation needs. If you require transportation to your medical treatment at PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital, please inquire about eligibility when setting up your appointment.
