Yong Ji MD is board-certified in interventional cardiology and internal medicine. He completed both a residency and fellowship at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Los Angeles Good Samaritan Hospital for interventional cardiology. Dr. Ji specializes in various endovascular interventions for coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease and percutaneous interventions for structural heart disease.
Dr. Ji’s experience of providing services for inner city at-risk teens, the homeless population and the medically underserved through volunteer work motivated him to go into medicine.
"Cardiovascular disease is one of the leading causes of death in the U.S.," Dr. Ji explains. "However, cardiology is one of the fastest-growing fields with regard to technological advancement, and there are growing varieties of treatments available to these patients."
