Varun Khetan MD has always searched for ways to act in service to others, which naturally drew him to medicine. He pursued obstetrics and gynecology because the breadth and depth of the science allows him to participate in all aspects of patient care; from primary care and routine pregnancies to complex illnesses and surgeries. This specialty allows him to address all the health problems facing his patients today. He enjoys experiencing both the highs and lows of his patients’ care over the course of their lifetime – committed to building a genuine bond while providing the latest evidence-based care.
Dr. Khetan practices the full scope of women’s health, with an emphasis on endometriosis, fibroids, adnexal masses, abnormal uterine bleeding, complex gynecologic surgery and high-risk pregnancies. He has trained using robot-assisted methods to perform advanced surgery, as well as a variety of traditional/minimally invasive approaches to surgical intervention to tailor the procedure specifically to his patients’ needs. His patients would be surprised to learn that Dr. Khetan played water polo with the French Olympic team while he was studying abroad in college.
In his free time, Dr. Khetan loves surfing in Manhattan Beach, backpacking in the Sierras and skiing in Mammoth with his family.
