The location in the mess of LA was awful and very hard to find. Please consider locating some of the House Clinic services in Orange, where access is much simpler. Please train the staff to communicate with deaf or semi-deaf patients using a tablet and the app Live Transcribe. Makes communication with people who can't hear well much easier.

Front office staff seem disconnected.. you sign in and while they may be free they always say sit down we'll call u shortly.. even for a simple question. Not very attentive.. Back office staff seem alot more connected and willing answer questions and help immediately.

Confusing with 2 back to back appts. Sent numerous check ins but seemed repetitive and as a result, the time scheduled was misconstrued by me. The workers at the reception desk were very dismissive and curt. They are unsmiling and cold as a welcome. The same with the auditory reception- I was told rudely that my insurance was not paid- as it turned out, it was an error by the first employee who neglected to list my current insurance on my chart. So I was treated rudely for something that was their mistake . Also was told I was a new patient and I had been there 2 years ago and for many years previously. So a bit disconcerting when the Dr. had to retrieve my records while I sat in the examination room.
