I was grateful that I was still seen that day although I was 20 minutes late for my first appointment time. I ended up being delayed due to having to make a stop for gas. I had no money left to pay for the visit, put gas in my van, or pay for parking so called one of my children to CashApp what I needed and made sure I was already checked in to avoid prolonging the time any further. I felt that I just needed to push through to get to the doctor's office regardless of the issues because I didn't have the day off the next day or another day in the future. I had a previous doctor's appointment for another reason before that I couldn't go to because I had no money for the copay. I didn't want this time to be a repeat of what happened before. The specialist and Dr Mitra were both extremely efficient in the way they provided me services.

Yes, the doctor was nice, did everything she's supposed to do, gave me a hearing test and everything. I needed to see a neurologist. She said I would ask for a supervisor when I went to emergency next door. They wouldn't let me have an appointment or see a neurologist over there in emergency. They gave me an appointment out in February. I need to see a neurologist. Nobody can help me, even though I may have referrals from your own doctors. They're scheduled way out. I keep going into emergency. You would think they would try to get a hold of my problem, and they didn't. I would need that service, immediately attention over someone's appointment for neurology, just to get me on board. Thank you. Now I can't even get a prescription filled that emergency gave me. My primary wouldn't give.

Dr. Mitra was an amazing doctor who took her time and listened to me. She actually, validated my feelings and concerns and knew a little bit about my previous condition that does contribute to what I went and saw her for. Would definitely recommend to family and friends

Dr. Mitra was really an outstanding doctor and I enjoyed seeing her. The only problem with my visit is that I have trouble getting, I have trouble paying for my parking. And it just seems like there's always something wrong with the machine. And then it's kind of stressful because I don't know if I'm going to be stopping a long line of people. And it just happens every time. I know that those machines break down constantly. I wish there was some other way to get us in and out of Parkland. Thank you.

The doctor who does the audio testing called in sick so I had to wait for 45 minutes so I went to receptionist to ask that my appointment was at 8am for test and 8:20 with Dr. and it is 8:25 am, I was told to wait 15 more minutes until 8:45 am to check in. But everything else went smooth after I was called in.

I had a consult and first visit with Dr. Mitra for nasal bleeding. She reviewed all my health conditions and conducted a scope in my nose. She found a couple of things that might need attention later. She figured out that my Sojourns is my largest problem probably causing the nasal bleeding from dryness and inflammation. Dr. Mitra was excellent. I am so happy with her. I will try her recommendation and see her again next month. She is fantastic.

The process for scheduling an appointment and registering online was very smooth. Mitra was very kind and had great explanations when discussing my symptoms and prescribed medication. Her overall knowledge not only helped me understand everything that was going on with my throat, but also the different things that may have caused/ could prevent it in the near future. Overall this was a painless experience. The only negative I had was waiting over a month for my appointment. However, this is understandable due to the demand/ amount of appointments other patients made to see her in advance.

In my opinion, the hearing test was a disaster

The service was wonderful and I like it because, although I don't arrive at the exact time, actually I arrive an hour early and they treat me wonderfully. That is enough for me. I am happy and I recommend this hospital, thank you.

Let's say I was impressed but not surprised. I usually get good service from PIH doctors/staff so the high marks in this case weren't surprising. One thing I did notice, however, was how quickly patients were called in from the waiting room. When we arrived, out half of the waiting room was a bit more than 50 percent capacity but it seemed that a patient was being called every 2-3 minutes. It was a busy office but the staff seemed to be working together to ensure efficiency. And Dr. Mitra was nothing short of professional, friendly, caring and an exceptional representative of PIH. This might sound weird but I am happy that my parents passed away under the care of PIH. That just tells me that they had the best care, by the best people, in their final days.

Scheduling is a problem. It took me approximately four to six weeks in order to schedule an appointment with Dr. Mitra. It's not only with her, but it's also with my primary physician and it seems to be an issue with any of the physicians that I've attempted to see in the past.

It was difficult getting an appointment as it is with most PIH. Just too many folks and not enough doctors. I was able to get an appointment due to a cancellation and I appreciate that the staff made the effort to do so. The doctor addressed my immediate problem and will address the cause of the issue in a follow up appointment.

Staff at front desk was kind and made good start. And, Dr. could catch what I mentioned about my son's symptoms. Assess with scope to see inner sinus are and told us what he really has it now. Felt confident with her care.

Takes forever to get a doctor's appointment

I really liked her and felt like we meshed and connected. I left feeling that she could really help me.

Had a great exchange regarding my issues. Dr. Mitra's high energy level is catching. She is very direct and offers great solutions, even if she had to repeat to me cause I forgot. She's a blessing. We don't speak with family members about my plan. I'm a senior and my family are still working so exchanges are not available to share.

When I first called the doctor's office, there were no appointments available for over a month, and my son was in a lot of pain. So I ended up having to call and just explain the situation to the appointment people, and then the doctor's office ended up calling me and fitting him into the schedule really quickly. So we did get an appointment fairly quickly after we needed it, about two weeks. I wish it would have been sooner, but the fact that the doctor's office called after I explained the situation and they got my son in was very much appreciated. Dr. Mitra was wonderful with my son. I appreciated the fact that she spoke to him and let him explain things as well as spoke to me. Sometimes doctors ignore the child and only speak to the parents.

i have an ingoing medical issue, every time i need to see Dr Mitra her office tries to get me in on a timely manner. Dr Mitra is wonderful, she listens to me and tries every time to figure out what can we do to make my situation better. I think that the specialist was very welcoming. Her approach to my son and explaining things to him directly was something that I valued because at the end of the day, it was him who was getting, you know, the treatment. So just her approach to him, taking him into consideration was something that I really appreciated. The doctor was very, the doctor was very attentive, very professional, wonderful. And unfortunately, the office staff turned off the phone system before 5 p.m. I was really disappointed in that. Yeah, this doctor has been absolutely the best doctor, the only doctor that seems to have any brains in schooling whatsoever. She's great. I think she's going to save my life. I've been sick for five years. In seven prior EMT's that were just totally worthless and three prior infectious disease doctors. I'm just hoping she works with my infectious disease doctor to figure this out because it's stuck in my mastroid. I know it is.

Only one elevator working in building and long line & wait time. I had no option but to walk up 5 flights of stairs. There are many seniors waiting for elevator and this is a huge issue and inconvenience. Elevator has been out for over 2 months (went to previous appointment in building). Please address this matter!

That they give you no more time there in 5 minutes 10 minutes 15 minutes in what I see they spend and also that they make the appointment when one is very sick, which I will do as soon as possible, this is my opinion. Thank you.
