Dr. Dhand was drawn to a career in medicine, because as a child he witnessed medical treatment change the lives of many of his family members and friends. “I have always wanted to be a part of the forefront of technology, and interventional radiology is a cutting-edge discipline when it comes to minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. I chose interventional radiology, because it was the perfect mix of my two passions: technology and medicine.”
Dr. Dhand enjoys learning new ways to treat different diseases, especially since the field of interventional radiology is constantly adapting due to improvements in technology and techniques. “I also enjoy working with my colleagues, who are great friends and mentors.”
In his spare time, Dr. Dhand enjoys skiing with friends and family and keeping up with his interests in computers, technology, travel and life-long education.
