Roy Silver MD chose the medical field to help people feel better. He remembers going to the doctor’s as a child and feeling better after each visit. This led him to a medical profession and the desire to help improve patient’s lives. He is an OB/Gyn specialist who feels fortunate to be able to deliver babies for families in addition to gynecologic care, such as fibroids, ovarian cysts or abnormal bleeding.
As a board certified OB/Gyn, Dr. Silver uses the most advanced treatment techniques for the safest, most effective care aimed at achieving optimal health and wellness. With years of experience and advanced training, he provides high quality, comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care. In addition to serving pregnant patients, he performs minimally invasive gynecology surgery and has a special interest in treating the LGBTQ community.
Dr. Silver has earned several awards, including Resident of the Year, Laparoscopic Surgeon of the Year and was inducted in to Super Doctors hall of fame for being recognized 14 years in a row. He received the Golden Apple for best resident teaching at Cedars Sinai and recently, Dr. Silver was listed as one of the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2021 LA’s Top Doctors. In addition to his medical accomplishments, Dr. Silver is also a nationally ranked triathlete who has competed on Team USA at the world championships and at the Maccabiah in cycling and triathlon.
