Dr. Manering's support staff is very efficient. They are very timely and mindful of the physician's timing, perspective, as well as the patient. And I think that's an important thing to ensure that patients are seen timely, efficiently, and effectively. Thank you.

Long time (months) waiting for an appointment. It is ridiculous!

It takes much too long to get an appointment and when you do get an appointment it's like 4 months to the date when you got the appointment,

the 2 negative responses were because it took 6 months to get an appointment = not enough neurologists maybe? Then on the day of my appointment I was asked via text to be 15 min early for the appointment so I got there 25 min early. Then was told he was 1 hour behind. Evidently his first appointment had some real challenges and his visit went way over. I'm glad that he was able to be cared for, provided good care and I was understanding. The staff kept me informed and let me know why this was happening. Doctor Manering was really wonderful, Professional, Patient and kind!

I was originally seen by Dr. (name removed), In the evaluation I explained that my major problem was neck pain (Arthritis) and my feet were a problem but, I knew what was wrong with my feet. Dr. (name removed) does not do testing so he sent me to Dr. Mannering, H said he was only authorized to test nerves in my feet, so I never got my main problem " Neck" tested. back to square one.

Doctor and Staff are very professional and pleasant.

Dr. Manering is absolutely a blessing and he is so patient, kind, and takes the time to make sure he's thorough with his patients. I enjoy having that connection with him. However, the process for procedures is a minus to get things done. The waiting period is pretty extensive. Overall, though, he's a great doctor.

Dr. Manering was very, very kind and I would answer all my questions and yes, I would definitely trust him with anything, any need I have in the future and refer him to friends and family. I was very happy.

The only negative I have experienced with PIH is the long wait after the referral for the specialists. In March, I waited 2 months for an exam to qualify for a test; and after the exam in May, the earliest appointment for that test is October. Doctor needs the test - can't be treated without it - seven months is really too long to put my health on hold. Wouldn't you say so?

He is a terrific and very thorough Neurologist who truly cares about helping you through the process of grtting you feeling better.

This is my first time seeing Dr. Neil Manering and he came in, just where he carried himself, he was a gentle spirit, he really showed respect and compassion and it was continuity because I had seen Dr. (name removed) first, then he passed me on to Dr. Mandering and I just was very impressed with his thorough and very respectful meeting me and helping me see what's going on with my legs. He gave me hope. Thank you.

I was very impressed with how thorough this doctor was and how competent he was, but I have to admit that he made me cry. I'm just not used to doctors being so compassionate and so caring. And it really touched me and I'm really grateful that I got to see a doctor who not only helped me with my medical problem, but emotionally too. And I thought it was a really good experience.

Both Waze and Google GPS took me to the wrong location. I called the office from the wrong location, and said I was lost. She said they had a 20 min grace period. I was crying because I waited a long time for this appointment, and I didn't want to miss it. I made it just in time. (You might want to get ahold of both Waze and Google Maps and get that fixed. Yes, there's a way to do that).

Dr was very friendly and listened to me without acting like he was in a hurry. He took his time and explained everything clearly to me. The staff was also very kind and friendly. It as a very positive experience. the only issue is getting appointments

Dr Manering was exceptional. Explained things, easy to understand and very helpful. The experience was as close to perfect as it gets.

The second appointment for detailed test has been given after 4 months. Should have been ideally given quick appointment say in the next week or so.

Dr. Manering was very attentive, informative, and he explained everything in simple terms for me to understand. Dr. Manering was prepared and he diagnosed my problem and we looked at some of my options and he listened to everything I had to say and very respectful, very knowledgeable, very good manners, and he offered solutions to the future for my condition and he ordered some new tests and new MRI and he got everything done quickly, efficiently.

Dr. Manering is, without reservation, one of the best doctors in the PIH family. He is thoughtful, professional and compassionate. Most importantly, he takes the necessary time to address all of his patient's and their family's concerns.

I was nervous, anxious and had so many questions after just having my stroke. Dr. Manering put me at ease and explained things in terms that I was able to understand. I truly appreciated Dr. Manering actually taking his valuable time with me (almost an hour) and making me feel comfortable and not like I was just another "number"! I felt he actually was concerned and cared about my feelings and well being! I'm truly grateful and blessed Dr. Manering will be my neurologist.

Oh, I just want to say I wish all physicians were the type of Dr. Manering because he's excellent.

I had to wait about 4 months for this procedure because there were no appointments available sooner. I had to wait for around an hour in the exam room for the doctor because he had a complicated case with a patient

I am frustrated with the time it takes to get an appointment. While Dr. Manering is worth it, my conditions require that I see my specialist as soon as possible, not in six months or in a year.

It took me five months to get an appointment and it's taking me another five months to have a test ordered by the doctor done to me. The appointments are way too far apart. For that reason, I am most likely not to recommend this doctor.

Dr. Mannering was very thorough and very personable. His nurse was also great. However, I need a follow up appt for testing and could not get an appt. I really like the care I get from PIH, but the appointment desk or calling for an appt for any doctor is really frustrating! Please work on getting the scheduling desk to better serve your patients. Yes, for this provider it takes a long time to get an appointment. It takes a very long time to get the recommended test also. So it's disappointing in that sense that it takes forever to get the appointment and scheduled test.

It takes 4-5 months to get the appt. then 4 more months for the next. By that time I have had the problem for almost 3/4 of a year.

The doctor was very nice, Dr. Manering, and he did listen, but the one thing I'm concerned about is he was going to send in a prescription to my pharmacy, and the pharmacy never received it. And I called into the office and spoke to a nurse or someone, and she said that it wasn't in my chart that I was to receive one, and I haven't heard back anything. My next appointment isn't until April, so I'm wondering if I have to wait that long to even get one. Thank you.
