Dr Magged has been our Family Doctor for many years. He always listens to my concerns. Gives great advise.

Dr Magged would be a gold standard amongst primary care physicians. He is focused, gentle, and non threatening and HELPS weak, frightened, and pained patients. I fear losing him.

Spoke in words that I could understand. Genuinely concerned for my health. Very thorough and discussed a health plan for me. It was a very good appointment with Dr Magged.

Appointment waiting time was 2 to 3 months Doctor assistance are very rude no manner no respect. Check them out.

Wish I didn't have to wait so long in their waiting room to see him, it was over an hour for a 9:20 am appointment. Also, the rooms were very cold and uncomfortable. Glad I brought a sweater, but it still wasn't enough, I got chilled and thus the doctors hands were very cold to the touch.

It took me 4+ months to schedule the appt for my physical. My appt was at 11:20a on 10/9/24. I arrived at the office about 11:10 AM. I was not called back for my appointment until 11:40 a. I waited for the doctor until 12:50 PM. It's ridiculous that I had to wait that long. I wasn't finished with the appointment for another hour+. His nurse (name removed) is incredibly rude and (word removed). It's ridiculous that I had to wait that long and then had to put up with attitude from a nurse. Instead of an apology for everyone's tardiness, I just got attitude. So unprofessional. PIH used to be the best. What's happened with your organization? They used to hire the kindest and most professional nurses. Why has that changed?

Dr Mark Magged was patient and knowledgeable answered my questions and most of all listened and treated me with respect

It took me a couple years to change primary drs however, it was worth the wait!. Dr Magged is such a GREAT dr, I appreciate the time he spends with you & listens to your concerns with compassion. Need more drs like Dr Magged at PIH.

I'm glad Dr. Magged offered to remove the skin lesion & have it biopsied instead of just referring me to a dermatologist. I was given a referral to one and I have an appt for Feb. 13, 2025! Who knows how bas the skin lesion would've gotten if i had to wait that long for the dermatologist.

I was released from PIH and needed to follow up with my Dr., who was unavailable. Dr. Magged was kind enough to see me. He explained in detail all of my medications with me and my aide. I am 88 yrs with a little hearing loss. He did not mind repeating any issues or concerns that I had. he was very, very polite and listened to all questions. Very thorough.

i originally went to urgent care, but since it doesnt open untill 11 am and it was around 9am, i went upstairs to see if there might be an open time slot..luckily there was one at 11

long wait time between when the nurse took my info and when the dr. came into the room

my regular dr was not available for 2 months so I saw this doctor because of a cancellation. This is getting ridiculous that it takes so long. this is why more people go to urgent care and ER.

Nice that the receptionist says "thank you for checking in online". Also, when the doctor came in the room, he said "I'm sorry to keep you waiting" since they were running late.

I am so grateful for my interaction and the availability with Mr... I'm sorry, with Dr. Magged. I was in extreme pain and finally I just broke down and I had to call in to get an appointment. It's been difficult because of my work schedule, but it just so happened that someone had cancelled and they put me in right away. Dr. Magged is great. He is the primary reason my husband and I chose PIH, even if St. Jude Hospital is much closer tour home.

I was in for my yearly wellness visit. First, his nurse was terrific. Second,the doctor was on top of all my maladies, and went through everything in the most thorough way. Third I needed a vaccine, and was cautioned it would hurt a lot for a few days. The nurse's technique and experiance was so great there has been no pain at all.

I called to make an appointment for acute lower intestinal pain. The provider didn't orde any blood work or ultrasound. He gave me antibiotics but I have chronic pain can't sleep and can't eat. He said that for any other work I would have to go to my primary. It was a waste of time and I'm in bad shape. I can't get in to see my primary ever he's usually booked out 5/6 weeks

I'm happy to participate with PIH in Whittier. Nine overall for service. My only concern is the amount of time it takes to get in to see special doctors like gynecologists, heart, things like that. I think three months is too long to have to wait to see a doctor. Thank you.

Dr. Magged is very thorough and respectful doctor. That is the main reason why I consider and chose him as my primary. His thoroughness and respect for his patients may run over his allotted time, but he is a doctor worth waiting for.

The doctor is great, the office staff is very pleasant, they know their job, they do it right. The best thing about the place still is that you don't charge to park. The people at PIH that are in charge of charging such outrageous prices should be ashamed of themselves. I will always look and try to find a doctor that does not charge for parking. I think the people that decided to do that should be ashamed of themselves for robbing from people who are poor and disabled and have to go to the doctor a lot. My doctor is great, the office staff is great, and it is great that they don't charge to park.

I would like the wait time to be less. It takes two hours to me after you're in the room to get seen and to be treated by Dr. Magged. His wait time is so long. My visits are anywhere from two to four hours every time I have an appointment, which is really ridiculous, especially when you're just going to update your prescription and you're really not being seen and your wait time is still over two hours. That needs to be fixed.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Mark Magged and I am extremely happy with him. I really hope that I can keep him as my primary physician, so that I can continue seeking help from him.

In the past with Dr. (name removed) at this office it was hard to get an appointment. Calls were very late returning or never returned at all. A lot of times I couldn't get through at all. Follow ups were poor in following through with answers. I am trying a new doctor for 2024 at this office and if the same thing happens will find another facility. Being a teacher I have heard this from other students who were patients at this office too.
