Every one was so nice, my experience there was really good, I liked it very much.

Dr Lii was very attentive and listened to my concerns. He explained yin a way I could understand.

Office staff sit in back office. Patients come in and they don't see them. The female with really long dark hair not friendly or helpful. Another elderly patient needed help with using the tablet and asked for help. She would not help them. No customer service from her. Definitely not PIH quality. Office looks junky several boxes in the waiting area. Waited 40 minutes to see the optometrist. Office was extremely cold staff and room temperature. Not a good experience.

There were 3 of us who had an appointment for reasons beyond our control. We were 15 minutes late and they didn't examine my son. I understand that we were late and they didn't examine him and the next appointment wasn't until next year. That was the only thing I didn't like.

Yes, my visit was very great. The doctor explained everything to me and he actually even explained from my vision what I need to use because I told him I was a Costco member and I was going to get the prescription glasses over there. And so he made sure that he wrote down the exact measurement for the glasses that I needed. Very helpful, answered my questions, you know, whatever I had questions. I felt comfortable and yes, I do refer friends and family to PHI. Okay, well thank you very much. All around I had a great time.

Very efficient

Dr Lii is very good, and he explains everything thoroughly. But the front desk help who is a male can be a little nicer or welcoming. He was to me not as friendlier as other PIH staff from other eye dr offices. He didn't make me, or my mother feel welcoming, but I am there to see Dr. Lii who was excellent. Another thing about him he wanted us to wait to schedule an appt with the eye dr specialist. He told me and my mother we will have to wait till the other two patients are being taken care of but he was just sitting there, and I could of sworn he helped them check in already but maybe he was not having a good day and I just told him I will call when I get home because I didn't want to wait. The girl who also helped with the eyeglasses to purchase also was not that friendly. She seemed like she was not having a good day or just didn't want to be there. This is the first time we had something like this because at the La Mirada office all the staff there are very friendly, they welcome us and never had an issue there but like I said we are there to see Dr. Lii who was excellent. Sorry I did not get any of their names I just know where they were working at. But I will be back because Dr Lii was really good thank you.

Only negative was the parking!!! Drove around for 20 minutes and not a spot to be had. I would not go back to this location again for this reason only. Plus $5 fee for parking.

The person who scheduled my initial appointment was kind, considerate, and cared about my situation. I had a corneal abrasion and I was in very much pain. Dr. Lii and the staff at his office at the PIH Hospital were amazing. He is wonderful. I will never want to have another ophthalmologist other than him because he is just above and beyond anything that I could ever imagine that an ophthalmologist needed to be or could be. You have a great physician there in Dr. Lii.

Doctors are good however office staff failes to follow through with call backs. Even though we are told they will call back when someone will get back from lunch. We always have to spend time calling the office staff which is frustrating.

They spent a lot of time (unreadable) the nurse who wasn't there was not brought in to ask her anything and the other person understood each other well, but it's a long time from (unreadable).

Hello, my name is (PHI removed). I really, really think that Mark LiI saved my life because he listened to me and I had a problem with my vision and it was a stroke that they detected and so then they did detect when I went to ER. He advised me to go to ER and there was, they found a blood clot in my heart. So actually, I think he saved my life by taking the time to listen, number one, and number two, advising me to go to ER right after the visit. He was not my regular ophthalmologist, but that was what I was given. Thank you so much, Mark. I appreciate that.

Dr. Lii was nice and answered my questions and took his time with my exam. I was very pleased with him.

I have a lot of inflammation, infection, a lot of itching in my eyelids. My eyes are watery when I wake up with my eyes stick together and he said that it was normal due to my age, that they were not swollen, that it was loose skin due to age. He did not give me any prescription for the allergy, he only gave me a sticky note with a name of drops only for dry eyes, according to him, so that I should buy it. That is not professional!!!

Dr. Mark was awesome. The office staff was awesome. I got a same day appointment, which I needed really bad, so I'm 100% satisfied.

Great service and location!

Mark Lii was the best, nicest ophthalmologist that I've ever seen. He treated me with respect and he was funny and he answered all my questions and I'm going to see him to get my eyes checked next month and I want to see him again for all my exams on my eyes.

Dr. Mark Lii is the best optometrist I've seen so far. He's very professional and thorough, and was able to educate me about my condition and followup care. He never made me feel rushed, even though I saw his waiting room was full of patients. However, I noticed another patient who checked in and said she had an appointment time at the same time as my appointment. She was taken in first and I had to wait even though we both checked in at the same time. It seems like the office is double booking patients which is very unfortunate and unethical.

As far as the question, was I able to get an appointment when I wanted, I called all P or I checked all PIH, eye care, and the one that I usually go to in Ojibwe was two months out and this one in Santa Fe Springs was the best one, the quickest one I could get. Other than that, it was a very good experience. Thank you.

Dr. Lii and his staff were great. The only issue I have is, number one, paying for the parking, and number two, having to go through the hospital and their screening in order to get into Dr. Lii's office. It's a bit inconvenient, as well as not enough parking. I had to park all the way out into another building and walk a good three, four minutes, if that, much to get over and wait in line in order to get into his office. So we have to plan for at least another 15, 20 minutes before our appointment time in order just to get in there and see him. Like I said, it's a bit inconvenient, but Dr. Lii and his staff are excellent. So I guess I'm willing to go through that to see him. But like, again, I said, inconvenient. Thank you.

Some of the questions that were asked in the check in portal prior to the appointment were not relevant and definitely not necessary. It felt like they were invading my privacy by asking such questions as" Do you have sex"? What does that have to do with eye care? That entire questionnaire need to be revised to reflect any applicable information for the appointment.

Hi, I love Dr. Mark Lii. I think the intake on the iPad was ridiculously complicated. I mean, I'm there for an eye exam and there are so many questions that were completely irrelevant to my needs and I don't appreciate my time being wasted like that.

Had pink eye so needed a quick appointment. Went to a new to me eye doctor. Not thrilled to have to go to the main hospital building but I was lucky to get a great parking space. Had to wait in line a long time inside to get a badge as only one person was checking in visitors. The actual medical staff was very polite. Hadn't been to that building since 2021 so surprised to see the Starbucks. Used to love the little restaurant we went to when my parents were patients. It was a good visit because of course I got Starbucks to go!

And like I said, he answered all my questions and he was telling me why, what's happening in my eye. So everything he explained to me was very, it was very nice. I had a really great experience with this doctor. The only problem I had is the location. I did not like that they had the ophthalmology and optometrist office in the urgent care. I felt like I had to go through a place full of sick people just to get my eyes checked. So if that can be a factor to relocate this, that would be great. Thank you.

Doctor and staff provided excellent customer service. I was seen in a timely manner. Staff was knowledgeable, helped me choose frames. Only downfall was It took a few months to get in to see the doctor.

Everyone in the office is very kind and conscientious and helpful and they see you in an immediate fashion. And if they can't see you right away, they apologize. And even if you're waiting five minutes, the doctor said, I'm sorry that you had to wait five minutes. I usually have to wait much longer than that. They're a great office.

It is very hard to make an appointment with PIH's ophthalmology, it is always take long time. The schedule girl never care what the patient said. Like this time what I mention my problem, the schedule girl even told me what's my problem. She is not a doctor, how can she know my problem. This is very bad experience that I never have before..

I called to cancel my appointment to get my eyes dilated and the person I talked to who's a female kind of blew me off, said that they would no longer take my sickness insurance because it's after 30 days, but didn't explain to me that there were no appointments. When I asked her if there was any next week, she looked and said there were none and there were none until April. So it's a tone of her voice, the fact that she wasn't willing to explain anything, it seemed like she had a pizza in the oven and had to get off the phone. So I might want to work on her.

I was impressed with the technology machine, the new technology that they had, the machines for glucoma testing and was very impressed and very impressed with the technician and impressed with Dr. Lii. I thought he was very efficient and he was very caring and professional and I really would have loved to have seen him again.

In order to see a Dr about my eye condition I had to get an eye examine and wait a month, or wait 3 months to see an Ophthalmologist like I wanted to. Why do I need to wait so long to see a specialist in all fields when I need appointments?

I really like the doctor's care, and my English is very limited, but he assigned me a person from his office so they could explain it to me in Spanish and I liked it. I liked it and I felt comfortable. I felt good. Thank you very much.
