Dr. Tsai attributes his ability to care for children and adults to his training at the University of California Los Angeles, the University of California Irvine (UCI) and Children’s Hospital of Orange County. A Southern California native, he established a “micro-practice,” a patient-centered medical model, to break down the barriers to care and spend more time with patients, saying “I have more time for meaningful doctor-patient interaction to understand complex medical problems, give instructions on treatment plans and suggest strategies for prevention. Board-certified, the former vice president of the Orange County Society of Clinical Allergy and Immunology taught at UCI Medical Center and lectured at national meetings of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
