Daniel J. Lee MD is an orthopedic surgeon who completed a hand surgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and is double board certified in Orthopedic and Hand Surgery. Dr. Lee feels honored that patients allow him into their lives at their most vulnerable moments and he strives to establish a connection with each patient. Dr. Lee is originally from Philadelphia and is a die-hard Philly sports fan, which causes him more heartache than joy. He also plays golf and loves exploring the world with his family. In 2020, he accomplished his life-long goal of competing on Jeopardy! and met Alex Trebek.

He should be more empathetic with the patient because, for him, it may not be anything serious, but the pain that one feels is not something others experience, and it shows little empathy towards that.

I loved Daniel Lee and the office. They were professional, quick, direct. I was in and out. It was wonderful. I would definitely go there again. I felt at ease. It was an excellent place to go.

This is my second experience with Dr. Lee. This time he treated the pain and swelling in my left hand. He quickly diagnosed the problem and suggested an injection which he quickly gave me in his office. I appreciate him agreeing to my request for a topical anesthetic to minimize the pain of the injection. In addition to that, the injection was done in less than five seconds. I also appreciate that Dr. Lee told me what to do if the problem persists.

If MRI showed a tear in the Rotator Cuff, the appointment should have been rescheduled with the ortho surgeon I have to go see next week.

Dr. Lee was pretty good overall. He was very nice. The people there were pretty nice. My only problem is just it's very tedious with PIH, like the whole system of going to a doctor, going to an MRI scan, and then going to get what you need to do. I still have to do like three more visits before I can even fix everything that's going on. So, just the whole system itself is very tedious. But other than that, Dr. Lee and his staff, his staff members over there did pretty good.

This office is always organized and runs on time. I have never waited beyond my scheduled appt. time. Everything is explained to me in preparation for the treatment. Dr. Lee is very informative and wants to make sure you have all the information needed to make informed decisions. Staff is friendly and efficient. One of the best medical offices I go to.

Everything was great. Everyone's personality was great. It was a good experience. Throughout the experience, the other doctors, they took close looks at my x-rays to make sure that we were doing the right thing. I just wished that the final doctor would have touched my hand. That's the only thing. I just wished it. I understand he had the x-rays and whatnot, but I just wished he would have touched my hand just to feel the deal on me, knowing that we're doing the right thing. I trusted him throughout because he was consistent with what the other doctors were saying as well. I just wished he could have put a hand on that hand just to feel it himself. Other than that, great.

Yes, being a long time patient of PIH, also of some of the physicians at PIH for ortho, I definitely put my trust in Dr. David Lee. I will be having surgery tomorrow and he did put my mind at ease. I'm very confident that he will do a great job with my surgery. Thank you.

Everything was handled well. It was nice to be able to get an appointment the next day. I was seen in ucc Saturday called for appointment Monday and was seen on Tuesday. That was a great relief. And the Dr & staff were friendly and helpful. And I didn't have to pay for PARKING

Too long a wait for very short time with doctor. I know he runs into complications with patients, but waiting patients should be notified immediately since that's more the norm for his practice!

The doctor did not tell me how long the anesthetic would last. My hand was numb for over 24 hours. I couldn't feel my fingers. I was very disappointed.

Okay, this is (PHI removed) and I was with Dr. Lee. He seemed like he didn't want to spend any time with me. He wanted to get out of there in three seconds. He could care less about anything. He just wanted to get rid of me so he could move on. And I had to pressurize him to hold him from leaving so I could get information out of him because he's like getting up. I said, wait a minute, I got some more questions. And so it was not a good experience. He showed almost no interest in me at all. He just said, looks like I got to get somewhere now. And so he put a lot of pressure on me to get rid of me quick. I came in real quick and I got out of there within probably ten minutes. I'm out of there. And he went on. So that was not a good experience. For most of my doctors I've ever been to, that was not too good.

The front office check in area in making an appointment on follow up are not paying attention on who they are scheduling... I was reschedule on another person information to see a different doctor... basically this was a big screw up... and it's not all staff doing this... just certain ones that like to gossip in the workplace...and not paying attention on what their doing.

As far as Dr. Lee goes, I'm very satisfied with his help with me. What I'm most dissatisfied about this office is that it took me an hour and five minutes to get through to get a cortisone shot. And I just think that that's excessive time to wait, even though I had an appointment and was there on time. Thank you.

I was extremely happy with Dr. Lee's services, however, I was not happy with the staff. I had hand surgery and I called and I was in a lot of pain and I called on Thursday and Friday and no one never got back to me. I called for a prescription and no one ever got back to me. Today is a week later and still no one has gotten back to me. So the call back is terrible. Thank you.

Overall, it went pretty well. The girl that walked me back into the room in black scrubs did a very good job. My only concern was once I was in the room, the I'm assuming an MA in maroon scrubs, she did bring in the aspiration tray and all the supplies I believe to the room next door on accident instead of my room because I could hear her through the wall. And then I can hear the physician correct her that it was the wrong room. So she came into my room and then when she had me sign the consent, she wrote my right hand and it was my left hand. So I had to correct her on that. I do work in the hospital, so I was familiar with consent forms and it was incorrect. So it was corrected. Otherwise, everything else went fine with the physician. Thank you.

I work in the industry and I really like Dr. Lee. I work with hand surgeons and I know that he did the best that he could. And the best thing was actually the injection and I'm doing pretty good. And the swelling is coming down, so I would recommend Dr. Lee. Very highly.

Went to Urgent Care. X-ray showed a possible fracture. I was referred to orthopedic specialist. Looking back it would have been best to have radiologist review the images rather than wait to 6 days to see Ortho Dr.

Dr. Lee was recommended to me by a friend from church. In 2019 I had a Carpal Tunnel Release on my right hand performed by Dr. (name removed). Since then, PIH Health has added a hand specialist in the person of Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee examined me and agreed that I need to have a Carpal Tunnel Release on my left hand. That procedure is being scheduled. Dr. Lee was professional, courteous, and he diagnosed my condition with a recommendation for the appropriate treatment.

Yes, I saw Dr. Lee about a week ago. It was a wonderful experience. When I called PIH, they got me in right away because I was in a lot of discomfort. His staff was wonderful. He was wonderful. He explained everything in a way that I could understand it. Yes, it was just a very, very good experience for me and I would definitely recommend him.
