Daniel J. Lee MD is an orthopedic surgeon who completed a hand surgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and is double board certified in Orthopedic and Hand Surgery. Dr. Lee feels honored that patients allow him into their lives at their most vulnerable moments and he strives to establish a connection with each patient. Being an orthopedic surgeon affords him the unique opportunity to restore function and allow patients to resume an active lifestyle.
While Dr. Lee enjoys the mix of office-based interactions and performing surgeries, helping patients live without pain is the most fulfilling part of his career. He particularly enjoys hand surgery because it is complex and requires great precision. Dr. Lee’s specialized training and specific skill-set have prepared him to solve difficult problems that most general orthopedic surgeons don't often see. When working with patients, he exhausts all non-surgical options first before recommending surgery.
Dr. Lee is originally from Philadelphia and is a die-hard Philly sports fan, which causes him more heartache than joy. He also plays golf and loves exploring the world with his family. In 2020, he accomplished his life-long goal of competing on Jeopardy! and met Alex Trebek.
