Hi, I've been seeing Dr. Collier for a few years now and I just really feel comfortable with her. She's very knowledgeable and I really like her a lot. She's really helped me.

I was in the treatment room at my appointment time and the nurse set things up, then the doctor came in. I was out of there in 15-20 minutes!

Dr. Collier always listens to my concerns and helps me the best that can be done. I appreciate her.

Dr. Collier is great. I've been going to her for years. My mother had skin cancer, so it's always a worry for me, but she thoroughly checks me and if I have any of the rough spots, she takes care of them. And she's just very kind and gracious and professional and I don't think I would feel comfortable with anyone else.

I have seen Dr. Collier twice and the first time was post-pandemic and I have to say she's very compassionate. She's a good listener and I felt that my medical needs were met. This last time that I saw her, I had the same experience and I'm just so blessed to be able to see a provider like Dr. Collier. I would definitely go back and see her if I have any dermatology needs and I will be recommending my family members and friends to see her. I showed Doctor Collier a scab on my hand and she immediately did a biopsy to check on it. I feel safe and comfortable with Doctor Collier. Glad that she is my doctor.

Have to wait too long for appointments

I was greeted when I entered I waited about 5 minutes before going into the room. Dr was pleasant and helpful explaining what she was doing.

My goodness I was so nervous about getting my mole biopsy and Dr. Collier made me feel so comfortable.

Dr. Collier is one of my favorite doctors to visit. She listens carefully to what I'm concerned about and treats me with respect and dignity. She is very thorough and if a procedure is needed, she takes great care in explaining what is going to happen.

My problem, As thy were preparing to do t he procedure the assistance asked Me to initial some forms and was not told what thy were for. I didn't think that was appropriate at that moment.

It's very difficult to get through to the office on the phone. I'm not going to use the internet to reach the doctor. And I got several requests for confirmation in text form and those are pretty much impossible to respond to.

The medical assistant was very efficient (name removed). I was very disappointed when the front office girl ( there were 2 but I'm speaking of the younger one who wasn't wearing glasses). The whole time I was waiting in the lobby (for approximately 25 minutes ) she was talking on a personal phone call while sitting at front desk where you check in. It was very distracting and I felt very unprofessional.

Yes, this is (two names removed) have been my dermatologist for almost six years and this is the first problem I've had in there. It was with the nurses in there and my wait time. But somebody already called me because I left upset and I left with a headache and one of your gals already called me to find out what happened and I explained everything to her so I won't be going back there. And your optometry place, that has problems in there also and I explained what happened in there. And I know I'm not being picky. These are legitimate.

Well, I'm very happy with my (INAUDIBLE). I don't have any complaints, so I'm good.

Great experience from check-in to my consultation with Dr Collier. The wait time to see Dr. Collier was minimal, and Dr Collier did a complete skin check and dealt appropriately with the skin issues I mentioned. Also, the staff gave me the phone number I needed to deal with a PIH Health billing issue, even though it was not related to dermatology.

The receptionist was rude. She wasn't paying attention. She was mostly on the phone. However, the doctor was amazing. The nurse was amazing. Thank you.

La Mirada's PIH satellite office seems to be every bit as efficient as the Whittier office... ... and definitely more conveniently located.

Very satisfied with my experience. I just wish that I can get a faster or sooner appointment and not a 2/3 months wait.

Dr. Collier and her staff are excellent

The appointments were prompt. When I arrived, I didn't have to wait very long, which is a positive. Receptionist was professional and courteous. The doctor was also professional and courteous. However, she did not provide a lot of consultation. There was not a lot of feedback. What she serviced me for, at least provided me with attention, was met in a general way. I knew that I couldn't expect more. She was limited with what she could do for me. But I did expect more consultation, more advice, but I knew not to expect that. I feel that maybe it was her lack of experience. I am not sure.

Dr Collier was very thorough in the exam and very clear in communicating issues and in describing next steps. Nurse was also terrific.

I had a great experience with this office, from ease of scheduling to the friendliness of the front desk and nurses to the calm gentle manner of Dr. Collier. I'm very happy to receive treatment from her.

One of the big things with PIH, and it's not with just this doctor, it seems to be with any doctor that I see, that it could take me months to get in to see them. Months. To me that's completely unacceptable, but that's just the way it is at PIH. When I talk to other people and the medical providers that they have, they don't wait months to see their doctor. They get in much sooner than I would at PIH. As a matter of fact, I think this appointment that I just had with Dr. Collier, I think it took six months to get in to see her. If I would have had a problem, that problem could have gone from a small problem to a bigger problem because of the length of time I had to wait. I don't like that at all.

Everything went well with my visit with my provider on the date in question. However, I just wanted to comment that it takes too long to get an appointment. When one calls, you know you're going to see the doctor not maybe one or two months later. I think that's very ineffective. I think you should be able to see your doctor sooner. Thank you.

Not having confidence with doctors because every time I have an appointment is a different doctor.

I have seen Dr. Collier several times now and she is always very attentive and shows genuine concern. The staff is nice, however the gentleman that did my intake could be a little more relaxed, could have a lot in his plate or just having a challenging day. But overall I feel PIH is like my extended family.

Very thorough attention to two skin cancers, quick removal for biopsy. (two names removed) have been very helpful to my needs in the past.

Dr Collier was warm and easy to talk to and I felt relaxed in her presence. She was very professional and knowledgeable and did apologize for the long wait to see her (40 mins from my scheduled visit) . She did provide cryotherapy to my face lesion that she called keratosis and told me aftercare I needed to do.

Dr. Collier is very caring and takes her time with her patients. Staff is wonderful.

Doctor Collier asked what skin issues I had and immediately took care of them quickly and thoroughly. She is very pleasant and made me feel comfortable even though the procedure is a bit painful. I got to the office early and left the office at the time my appointment was to begin. Good visit!

I will rate her yes definitely in trusting her treatment if I see results I'm tired of having this condition and I hope she can treat it and make it go away.

Yes, I really believe that you all need to learn how to be human, human, and listen. Not listen for to be understood, you need to listen for understanding. And then a doctor should make an accurate assessment once the whole story has been put out. For me to come in there and be there less than three minutes for $300 is ludicrous.

Dr Collier is very fast with her exam. This may be because she is very experienced and knows right away what looks normal vs abnormal. Would feel more comfortable if she took a little longer looking over my body, scalp, etc. She has a lovely, personable demeanor.

The front office receptionist is not friendly. She's been there quite a long time and hasn't changed. I feel like I'm putting her out when I check in. In her position she definitely needs to have some people skills and how to be personable to patients. The MD and back office staff are tremendous and so friendly and helpful. Love the office but receptionist needs to have a job not involving patient contact.

Doctor Collier has great patient connection; it was easy to discuss my problem with her.

This facility (La Mirada) is closer to my residence (Fullerton) than Whittier, and quite a bit smaller, but the office staff is every bit as professional as they are in Whittier. I'd go to Whittier again if necessary for the timing of an appointment or infrastructure for a procedure, but I prefer the La Mirada site at this point.

This was a really great experience. Not only the staff and nurses were helpful, but also the doctor took their time with me and made sure that I was comfortable. I also wanted to clarify that my first answer was, I put a two and it should have been a four. I didn't realize there was a higher scale. Excellent experience, I am excited to go back.

Overall, good patient experience. Would liked to have been consulted on the cost of certain procedures prior to agreeing to them (cost ended up being fine, but it wasn't until I was out of the office that I realized I hadn't asked and hadn't been told). Great care and explanations!

It does take quite awhile to get an appointment with a PIH dermatologist. I checked online for appointments in both La Mirada and Whittier, and the wait time to see other dermatologists was even longer than with Dr Collier. Having said that, Dr Collier was excellent.

I'm VERY pleased with the care that I'm receiving with Dr. Collier. I'm a retired R.N. and when I worked at USC I occasionally would assist the dermatologist with his patients, I know the proper care one should receive. Dr. Collier is a perfect physician, you're lucky that you've her on your staff.
