This is one of the most well-run offices that I've been to. The staff is friendly and efficient, and Dr. Escobedo takes the time to really listen to any issues you're having and then explains things in a way that is easily understood.

The provider was excellent, however, I think it is unfair that the physical is limited and for any other extra questions or comments that you have, they will charge you. That's what a physical is for.

Dr. Escobedo, the way he treated me and listened to me, I didn't feel stigmatized, especially if I'm going in for, you know, HIV prevention, HIV prep work. And I just felt like I could trust him. He listened and he really restored, in some ways, my faith in being able to talk to the doctor about what's actually going on and getting the services I need. I had a moment when I joined PIH where, due to miscommunication, it took about a month to get an accurate diagnosis, which complicated a few things. Luckily, nothing major happened, but Dr. Escobedo's treatment in the last session was amazing. It really did make me feel like I could go to PIH and get the services I need to stay healthy. So I really appreciate it. Thank you.

Dr. Escobedo is an excellent doctor! He answers questions thoroughly and explains in understandable language. I appreciate him always being on time, he should be recognized as so far the ONLY doctor at PIH who sees you at the exact appointment time.

Doctor review and explanation was on tagget. The nurse that did the bandage removal and re bandage need to more training, did not apply non stick covering to the wounds but applied gauze directly to the wounds . The next day I soaked sticking gauze bandages on the wounds and put non stick pad over wound all is ok today

Dr Escobedo Is top notch

I did have difficulty getting the names and understanding names of the dermatologist that the doctor said would be good to see. So I will probably have to go online to my PIH Health and leave him a message because I don't remember and I didn't really understand the last name of the dermatologist.

I believe that the front desk could be a little bit more courteous. The doctor, for the most part, he is very dismissive. I mean, to a certain point, I get better treatment with (name removed), which is a PAC. She's very attentive when I've seen her, more so than my regular doctor.

I feel that Dr. Escobedo listens to his patients. I had a list of concerns that were addressed by him. I am very satisfied with the care & knowledge that he imparts every time I see him. He also replies to my queries online - something I value since I don't have to leave my house to confer with him.

I had Kaiser Permanente for 25 plus yrs this is the first time I have another doctor I wish I would have met dr Escobedo a lot sooner. Had a wonderful first visit better than my Kaiser dr of so many years. looking forward to haveing dr Escobedo as my dr for a long time.

Dr. Escobedo went over my blood test results and asked about any other issues that I had, I felt like he listened and answered any questions I had.

Hi, I have seen Dr. Escobedo for the last couple of years. I have normally found him to be extremely helpful, very attentive. This visit was very, very poorly received by me. I was admittedly six minutes late, six minutes, but I was already checked in. So it wasn't as though I was 15 or 20 minutes late, but that's how I was treated, both by the office staff and by Dr. Escobedo. He gave me about 13 minutes of time, and I felt that was very inadequate for what was effectively a yearly physical. So I don't know if he had something else going on. That was the first time he's ever acted that way. I come from a long distance, and it's occasional that I might be late. But as I said, I was six minutes late. I was already checked in. And both the nurse who checked me and Dr. Escobedo himself both mentioned that I was late, and they gave me a little bit of time.

Dr. Escobedo is very attentive to my health concerns. He is also very personable and shows interest in my life and overall well-being.

On the last question, I prematurely pushed a number and didn't hear the full question. So I hope I didn't push anything negative in response to the question because my full experience with Dr. Escobedo was 10, 10, 10.

Sometimes while trying to schedule an appointment, it takes up to 3 months to schedule, this to me is the only downside of this office, otherwise all other aspects are outstanding.

I definitely like the way the back office, the back nurse treated me. The doctor was good, I like him. He's been my primary doctor for a while, so I don't have a problem with him. You guys need to work a little better on scheduling appointments that are closer date, because I have to wait a while to schedule this one. And the front office nurses could use a little bit more training in the sense of customer service. They're not very professional if that, if that's what I can call it.
