Dr. Hsiao is professional, warm, gifted, and has a good sense of humor. He does not catastrophize things, injuries are just a part of life; and there is something comforting about that approach. Five years ago, Dr. Hsiao fixed me 2x, 6 months apart! One surgery was an MCL repair, 2nd MCL and allograft. I've never had an issue with that knee and I am very active. Here we go for round 3 (other knee got jealous), hence why I came back and refuse to see anyone else.

My name is (PHI removed) and I'm a double amputee. I was late coming to my appointment that day. I came in my own wheelchair. I was almost an hour late and almost in tears when I got there. On the way, I called the office and one of the staff gave me directions and told me, don't worry, I'm not going to lose my appointment, just make sure, you know, that I get there. When I got there, when I got there, even with a room full of people, they managed to see me in a timely manner even though I had missed my actual appointment time. The doctor was amazing. The staff was wonderful. And my experience, which was my first experience in this healthcare plan, was outstanding. I give this office and this doctor my highest vote of great customer service. Thank you.

I trust Dr Hsiao. If I have to have orthopedic surgery, he is the one I want to do it. The staff in the back room as well as the staff at the front desk do an excellent job, each time I come. I don't think I could ask for more from them. However, there is one problem that I consistently have with PIH. And that is just trying to make an appointment with any doctor. No way I can actually get a hold of anyone by phone. And the only other alternative is to go online and search through the PIH website. It is incredibly frustrating. I would greatly appreciate that this would be cleaned up. Thank you.

The one girl at the front desk is kind of rude, I don't really want to deal with her again. For the most part everyone else was fantastic.

This was my initial consult with Dr Andy HSIAO. I am an active senior pickleball player and professional musician, recently affected by a rotator cuff injury. He thoroughly explained my rotator cuff issues, reviewing the MRI in detail. I received an injection and a plan going forward to help me maintain and improve my senior active lifestyle, reducing pain and improving shoulder function. I look forward to trusting my future orthopedic care with Dr HSIAO.

The wait was to long I have to wait for a long time to get the appointment with my doctor. When you are dealing with bones you should not have to wait 3 weeks to see a doctor

The Dr should give the patients more time and listen to them, he only spent 5 minutes or less with me. It was the assistant who helped me more than the Dr., she listened to me and was very kind.

Dr. Hsiao is a very caring doctor, very patient, explains my MRI very carefully and in detail. And he's an excellent doctor.

THE PARKING LOT IS TOO MUCH. iT WAS A LONG LINE WAITING TO GET OUT OF THE PARKING LOT. yOU NEED A PHYSICAL PERSON THERE TO ASSIST PEOPLE, NOT A RECORDING! I DONT THINK WE SHOULD PAY 5.OO FOR PARKING AT A DOCTOR VISIT. WE ARE ON A FIXED INCOME AND EVERYTHING IS SO EXPENSIVE.

Dr. Andrew Hsiao is amazing. I received a cortisone injection in my elbow and felt NO pain. I had this procedure done a few years back in the other elbow by someone else is had a horrible experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Hsiao.

I had a very good experience with doctor & staff. Would gladly recommend to anyone.

I was called into the examine room quite quickly, but water in that room for about an hour, for the doctor. I was actually starting to feel claustrophobic, so I had to open the door, and walk around in circles; just move around, as I was beginning to feel anxious. I have a son with special needs at home, and I needed to get back to him. When the doctor finally came in, he looked a bit exhausted. He was still on task, but it was clear that his day was a challenging one! Also, I have never seen so many people in the waiting room. It was nearly standing room only. I realized in talking to some patients, that they had appointments with the same doctor, at the same time, which can only mean that patients are being double booked, which is so unprofessional. This is so unfair to everyone involved! Our time is just as important, and we should not be forced to have to wait so long. After the doctor finished with me, I still had to wait for the nurse, or assistant to come in and give me the authorizations.

It was wonderful. My husband and I are being seen here and they took care of us. We feel so much better and the staff was outstanding. Our doctor made us feel comfortable and he knew what worked for us

Dr. Schauer listens. He's fully aware of his specialty in medicine and I really appreciate and respect him. He's done my shoulder and my knee now. And so far, great. Nothing to complain about. He's good. He's great.

Dr. Hsiao is an excellent doctor because he was very knowledgeable about my illness. He answered all my questions in a way that I will understand. He discussed the treatment to my satisfaction. Overall, it was a very positive experience from the front desk to the doctor.

May you improve the care in customer service because you have to wait almost 45 minutes for someone to attend to you.

My wife was a patient of Dr Hsiao since 2021 so I was very familiar with him. He knew exactly what was wrong with my elbow and took corrective action. Great Doctor.

Hi, I just want to say that Dr. Hsiao was awesome. My son had ATL tear and he fixed it. Not only did he fix it, but he took him in as soon as possible. He was very diligent at explaining what needed to happen, gave us all the options, and he took the best care possible for my son. And the bottom line is the results, right? So my son is doing really well. His PT has been going great. He doesn't feel any pain. His knees feel like normal. And he's ready to get back into playing sports again. So I want to say thank you to Dr. Hsiao and appreciate everything him and his staff has done for us. I highly recommend Dr. Hsiao. He did a great job. Thank you.

He explained everything. He told me what was going to happen and he referred me to many options that I have. I will go and I'm very happy with my doctor.

As someone who has had a lot of traumatic experiences at different doctor's offices, it is really important for me to go into a new doctor with hope, but usually I'm quite nervous. Dr. Hsiao, I'm probably saying that wrong, I'm so sorry, Dr. Andrew, he was so nice and so kind and his staff was amazing. I felt very comfortable. I was very happy with my care. I felt like I was listened to and taken care of in a positive way. I feel very seen by this office and I am very grateful to have found them and PIH. So I think they are amazing. At this point I feel like they deserve something because trust me, when I go to new doctors, I don't usually feel this way.

Wow , the office personnel were very professional, and were easy to talk or and explain each step to and made sure I understood,very timely manner , from desk, secretary, nurse, x-ray technicians, doctors, and back again desk secretaries.

This doctor is the best! Have seen him previously and he still takes the time to discuss my problem. He also operated on my husband twice with excellent results. His office staff always greets us with a smile and is courteous.

You really need to fix the elevator at the Wells building. And lacking that, have someone directing people to the correct staircase so they don't get to the 4th floor and have the door locked. Nothing like getting admonished by an associate for using the wrong staircase after walking 12 flights of steps to find a locked door.

Great doctor, xray technician was very friendly and patient. The doctor gave a very detailed description of my injury and even showed me on a diagram where my injury occurred and why. Love this facility and staff

I'm very happy with the results of my surgery. Dr Hsiao was very informative from the very first time I saw him about my shoulder, we first tried therapy. I am glad I decided to have the replacement surgery, great experience with him and his staff. I have been telling acquaintances how awesome of a doctor he is.

I like that even though my complaint was minor, he did consider my concern and he did come up with a long-term plan of care and didn't just dismiss the situation.

Takes almost a month to schedule an appointment. Too long for orthopedic needs. Your app is lacking, not user friendly. Tried to reschedule on the app and was given an appointment in June. That's unacceptable!! Had to log on 3 times before I could connect to this survey. Improvements need to be made to access services.

Dr. Hsiao was focused and carefully explained the x-rays and follow-up care.

Appointment was for 3:45 p.m. I was not seen until 4:25 p.m. That's 40 minutes of my life wasted. At 82 years of age, this I did not appreciate.

Dr Hsiao explained talked to me about why my shoulder muscles are not responding to treatment and that some recover fast and others take longer.

Other than his High demand I have no complaints. Andrew has treated me for multiple issues Lft Knee and Shoulder. We are seeing him to address my Rt shoulder that was operated on but not fixed. I hope this time will be a success!

Dr. Hsiao, is very knowledgeable and has been a great orthopedics for me and I've had 7 orthopods to date for my hips, arms, back etc and he did my shoulder sx and got me active in my sports life again in 2019. I'm in debt to him!

Detailed explanation given to me that very much helped me with a better understanding of the medical information that the MRI provided. I was shown on his laptop screen with explanation and possible treatment in the future.
