Michael Vega DPM says a deep, abiding belief in the care of his community and commitment to his patients lead him to practice podiatric medicine and surgery. As a Spanish-speaking physician, he fills a void for often underserved Hispanic patients. Dr. Vega—who specializes in surgery, wound care and sports medicine—provides team care to numerous Los Angeles high schools and colleges. An athlete himself, he played football at St. Thomas Aquinas High School while growing up in San Bernardino. He belongs to numerous podiatric and sports medicine professional organizations and enjoys golf in his spare time.
