Pleased with information received and treatment provided.

I was not able to get an initial appointment for over 2 months (!!) but was satisfied with the doctor assigned to me (Dr. Lively) and her staff assistant was very pleasant and worked with me to schedule my next appointment/treatment according to my schedule.

Esther Lively is competent and skilled at the procedure she completed on me.

Dr. Lively and her nurse (name removed) were so kind and warm, this made my appointment more pleasant and less stressful. I am so grateful for their time and professionalism.

The office staff was most helpful , got me checked in fast, actually got me in 15 minutes early, nurses were on top of things , explained everything that was going to be happening that day , asked what the they could help me with today listen to all of my concerns. Got me ready for the doctor to see me, doctor went over with me with my concerns, explained what would was to happen and provided me with all the answers be any procedures were done . After all the procedures were done explained to about any problems that may come up and explained to what to do in case of. The staff got me check out and set up my next appointment, and sent me on my way , but also told me if any came up I can always call them , if I had any questions. Many thanks to the staff there for all the professional assistance they gave me.

This is from the PIH Dermatology with (name removed), Dr. (name removed). I was just concerned that it took three months between the time they found out I had a cancer, dermatologically cancer on my back to them taking it out, and that concerned me. So thank you.

My original appointment was scheduled for July. I was rescheduled THREE TIMES. I schedule my appointments during the summer for a reason, so making it in at this time was not easy.

Friendly dermatologist

I was treated very well there. Very professional. A nd they they did very well to make me feel safe.

She knew what she was doing and she was extremely knowledgeable about the process.

Dr. Lively and the staff were excellent. They answered all of my questions and treated me with respect and care. They also took the time to get to know me a little bit because this was my first time seeing them.

The provider was in a rush. Spoke quickly and ready to leave without asking if I had any questions. She froze pre-cancer stuff off my Face and I had to get her to stop from leaving so I could ask questions about recovery from that. I never had that done before so it wasn't routine for me. I saw in the app many things mentioned there in the paperwork were not communicated to me during office visit. She was kind and friendly but too rushed. Not quite sure if she missed anything in my whole body check because of her rushed state. I will probably request a different provider for my check up next year.

I liked the service and the clean office. Good service upon arrival from the receptionist and also from the doctor's assistant.

The doctor and the office were excellent. Scheduling the appointment was a nightmare. Could not be seen for three months and then had to move my appointment and it took another three months. That's outrageous.

Ms. Lively's assistant removed 5 stitches from my hand very well. Ms. Lively then came in to check and review care procedures.

When I scheduled this appointment, I scheduled it in March and it took me March, April, May, June, July, the end of July to have an appointment to be seen in dermatology. And I kid you not, my appointment was so fast. I walked in there, she was in and out within three to five minutes. It was so fast. So I waited four months to see the doctor and she didn't even see me for five minutes. That's my only desire that you would improve on that, that the doctor would spend more quality time and not feel so rushed. The appointment felt so rushed. Thank you.

Very experienced skin specialist I am very grateful especially that the appointment line had given me an appointment in La Mirada for no apparent reason. I arrived at Whittier office and found out my appointment is at another location. I explained that I always have been seen at Whittier. They attended to me and I really appreciate their service

A doctor felt very rushed, didn't explain aftercare very well, nor did she take the time to ask any questions or if I had concerns. Overall experience felt very rushed and transactional. No interest or care about the appointment. Just very rushed.

I'd like to tell you that you need to decide for yourselves whether or not you picked a good doctor because I know that when I see them they're the best that they can be and the best that they can do with what they have and you need to decide for yourselves instead of calling me. Bye.

Hi, I think I pressed the wrong information for what I thought of the office, and I think I hit one trying to hit a 10. I thought they were amazing as well. Normally I have walked out of a Doctors appointment a bit overwhelmed/confused. Many questions floating thru my head. The feeling was the complete opposite with Dr. Lively. I felt really excited walking out of this appointment. I feel that Dr. Lively understood my concerns and created a plan for me that will help treat and improve my condition.

I felt like my appointment was rushed. Esther spoke fast and left quickly. It is so difficult to see any medical doctor, especially a "specialist" in a timely manner.

Yes, they were all very nice, very helpful. We had been in a car accident right before we went in for our appointment and afterwards they said that we should go to the emergency room, have my father checked out and me too. And they called the emergency and had them come and pick us up and take us to the emergency room. And we were very glad that they said that because my father's going to be 99 and that was a good thing that they told us to do that. And I was very thankful that they suggested and helped us out. And over at the hospital they were very good too. Everyone was very nice to us. That's it.

I liked that Esther was very gentle with my biopsy and explained wound care in detail. Also staff took care and dressing was put on right so it would not come off Thanks alot ( and I can't stand needles)

I was leaving on a trip in two days so I texted my regular doctor on a Sunday night and she made sure I was seen by (name removed) before I left. Ester was amazing. Made time to squeeze me in and took care of my needs.

Esther Lively was extremely patient at answering my questions, which I greatly appreciated. I was a bit stressed about what the procedure entailed and her explanation and manner helped me feel better. The medical assistant was wonderful too. The only thing I wish I asked was what to do for pain relief. The instructions mentioned Tylenol, which I took last night and did nothing. I'm hoping the constant pain at the surgery site lets up so I can rest a bit today.

I saw a PA because I couldn't get an appointment with Dr. (name removed) for many months. She was dismissive and rushed me from the time she walked into the exam room. Terrible experience.

The physicians assistant could be a little more friendly and forth coming with their input from a CASH paying customer about other services offered for conditions presented. I guess I'll stick to my med spa location DermFx for "non-medical " solutions.

I had an appointment and had to wait 30 minutes for a less than 5 minute visit with my doctor who asked me about three questions so that I could refill my medication. Then it took about 20 minutes just to exit the parking lot. This appointment and parking situation should have taken me 15-20 minutes tops but it took me about an hour.

Esther made me feel very comfortable and I felt I was in very capable hands. The procedure went smoothly and pain free, very different from my last biopsy.

Front office could be friendlier. They don't smile at you and they feel unapproachable. Once you pass check-in the experience was perfect. I think the high energy and politeness was so amazing in the back it made the front more noticeable.
