Ali Golshan MD MBA is a vascular and interventional radiologist specializing in minimally invasive treatment of peripheral vascular disease, such as varicose veins, venous ulcers and peripheral arterial disease (reduced blood flow to the legs). During his residency, Dr. Golshan completed several rotations in interventional radiology, neuro-interventional radiology and completed a mini-fellowship in thoracic interventions followed by a dedicated fellowship at Johns Hopkins in vascular and interventional radiology.
Both of Dr. Golshan’s parents are scientists so he was exposed to and fascinated by it from an early age. A family member was treated by an interventional radiologist and that inspired him to choose the specialty. Dr. Golshan appreciates treating difficult conditions with elegant procedures that get patients back to good health with little or no downtime. In addition to performing procedures, Dr. Golshan sees patients at the clinic for follow-ups and to help manage conditions.
Dr. Golshan graduated as valedictorian of his major and received the prestigious Leo G. Rigler award at UCLA Medical School. He was elected to Top Doctors of Los Angeles as well as Super Doctors. Dr. Golshan has traveled all over the world and is still excited to explore new corners of this amazing planet.
