Ravi Sureddi MD is a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist (EP) who specializes in catheter ablation and device therapies. He is proficient in catheter ablation for all types of tachy-arrhythmias and particularly focuses on complex ablations for VT and left atrial flutters. He is a strong proponent of physiologic pacing (BiV, His bundle, Left bundle pacing). Dr. Sureddi completed fellowships in Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, and has been a practicing Electrophysiologist with LA Cardiology since 2013.
According to Dr. Sureddi, “Cardiac electrophysiology is a very logical field where treatment can be tailored to each patient and at the same time, there is minimal ‘guess work’. It is also a field where patients can be cured of their disease.” His specialty requires both intellectual skill (for analyzing patient’s symptoms, ECGs, intracardiac recordings etc) and hand skills (during ablation procedures or placing pacemakers and defibrillators) to get the best outcome for the patient. This is a highly rewarding challenge for Dr. Sureddi.
Dr. Sureddi strives to achieve the best possible outcome for each patient, whether they choose medical therapy or procedural treatment, regardless of how difficult or time/labor intensive the patient’s procedure.
He enjoys teaching and working with cardiology fellows at UC Riverside. In his free time, he listens to classical and rock music, reads and travels.
