Dr. Sargent decided to study and specialize in general and vascular surgery since it provides him the challenge of dealing with acute illnesses and the ability to treat and restore ill patients. He followed in his father’s footsteps when he was accepted into medical school out of high school, and has never looked back. Dr. Sargent is continuously challenged to make the best decision regarding performing efficient and precise surgery, but often the decision to perform surgery is the most difficult and important question.
Apart from work, Dr. Sargent enjoys skiing and hiking, and is an active member of the Rotary club. When visiting Dr. Sargent be sure to ask to see his underwater photography shots, which has been a life-long hobby of his.
