Board certified in Family Medicine since 1983, Augusto Rodriguez MD has extensive experience treating people of all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Rodriguez specializes in treating the entire family, including children as young as two months old. Within his practice, Dr. Rodriguez emphasizes preventative medicine and the benefits of a healthy diet and exercise. Born in Colombia, Dr. Rodriguez and his family came to the United States when he was 14. Dr. Rodriguez received his bachelor of science from University of Southern California (USC) and earned his medical degree from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He then returned to USC for residency training through a program at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, where he served as chief resident. When not treating patients, Dr. Rodriguez spends time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys golf and tennis.

this was not my primary doctor but i thought he explained some things that my primary physician had not explained such as the fact that he says i'm diabetic! My primary had told me i was bordeline diabetic!

Dr Rodriguez has been my provider for many years and he has always provided great care for any health issues I have encountered over the years . kept me on my toes would not let me slip on taking my meds and keeping me on scheduled with labs, and routine test, I will miss him dearly when he retires ! PIH - Awesome group of people working for them from Dr offices to hospital, labs and Imaging all are good thank you

Dr. Rodriguez seems like a very knowledgeable and confident doctor, which I greatly appreciate. He sounded like he was in a great hurry all throughout; perhaps I caught him at a bad time when he was up to his neck with other more important things.

I am highly unsatisfied with this appointment, I was stopped mid conversation saying my 20 minutes were up and that I had to make another appointment to go over the rest of my concerns. This was supposed to be my establishment of care visit since I am coming over from Kaiser. Both the dr and nurse confirmed this yet I was NOT allowed enough time or given the correct form so they can request my record from Kaiser. HIGHLY disappointed.

Yes, they treated me very well, everyone was very happy with the service with the doctor and the workers from where you come, what a happy class.

The nurse seemed to have an attitude. She took my weight and incorrectly documented the wrong weight. The doctor had to weigh me again and correct chart. On the way out the same nurse made an appointment for me without asking me first. She seemed to have an attitude when I asked her I would like to change the date. Overall the doctor was okay and hope to have a different nurse next time.

Augusto Rodriguez is the best primary doctor I've ever had or been to in my entire life, and I'm 55 years old. I look forward to seeing him every time I go. I feel very comfortable with him, and he's very thorough and makes sure that all of my concerns are addressed. And that I feel very well taken care of with him. I will continue going to him as long as he is in practice and as long as my insurance is taken there. And I can't rave about him enough. I really appreciate that he's there, and he's there for me. That's how I feel. So kudos to Augusto Rodriguez, and thank you for having him.
