Dr. Nashed became a physician to help people take care of themselves, both physically and emotionally. He credits a warm and nurturing upbringing for helping him to achieve his dream and enjoys his specialty in pediatrics because “I love working with kids and enjoy being part of the family, helping healthy children grow up to be healthy adults.”
A native of Egypt, Dr. Nashed says “I was so blessed to move to the U.S. with my wife in 1982.” The father of two adult daughters plays the Oud, a Middle Eastern stringed instrument, and enjoys soccer. He belongs to the American Academy of Pediatrics and volunteers with an International Christian organization that provides social services to the underprivileged.
