Niraj Karki MD is committed to providing excellent care to his patients, especially in the form of clear and detailed communication with both patients and their families alike. His detailed oriented personality and ingrained passion for medicine inspired his special interest for infectious diseases, particularly HIV. He earned his medical degree from Kathmandu University, in Nepal, and completed his residency with New York University, Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he was elected Best Resident of his class. Dr. Karki also completed a clinical fellowship in Infectious Disease at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Karki worked as a Hospitalist and Infectious Disease specialist at The Aroostook Medical Center in Maine, and served as Medical Director of their Intensive Care Unit.
