David was very calm and listening to what I had to say and just stayed calm and answered me in a very professional manner. What I'd like to convey is that he was in tune and listened very carefully to me. He was an excellent example of what an employee should be.

It would have nice to know what the next steps will be taken. Meaning, the outside of my mouth was swabbed and the results wld take a while to receive. It wld have been nice to have the PA tell me wait for the results first nd then schedule with an EMT, instead of just referring me.

I was seen by PA David Abiva as follow up from urgent care visit and I'm very satisfied with my interaction with him. He listened with my concerns and ordered tests needed to my satisfaction. I will try to get appointment with him next time as needed.

David Abiva is a very, very good listener and he shows a lot of respect for his patients. I think he's a very, very, very good doctor that I'd recommend to anyone. He tries to understand and help people in the best way possible.

David's staff was excellent. They called with results. I've received two phone calls from him about different things and was very happy with him. Although he's not my regular doctor, he was just someone I could get into a little quicker than my regular doctor. I really enjoyed him.

I was very apprehensive as this was a new doctor and my first time and I'm not a patient that goes to the doctor often, but I felt very comfortable, very relaxed, very well understood and appreciated and I thank you so much. I actually gained more information in that one visit than I had in the years that I spent with my previous doctor, so thank you.

Okay, can I start? Yes, the doctor was a really nice doctor and he gave me great information and he also explained the information to me and that's all I can say because I wasn't there very long. And I appreciated what he had to say and he gave me my medicine and he checked me all over and so there's not much more that I can tell you. But I would say he was a good doctor, he's a great doctor and I recommend him to other people.

David Abiva has always put all his attention on his patients. He listens very closely first to what they are trying to explain about how they're feeling. He handles each question or situation one at a time, so patience seems to understand, and they don't get confused of what they(patient) have the option of doing. He never rushes in or out. We love going and seeing David for any medical assistants. Thank You David for your patience, time and care!

Your computers could have been better up as they were down when I went to visit.

It was my very first visit to PIH. On 6-24-24, Monday early morning, I called PIH for an appointment with Dr. (name removed), referred by a friend of mine, but she was not available until Thursday. I couldn't wait until Thursday as my situation needed an immediate medical attention to my unstoppable coughing, developed during the weekend. Dr. David Abiva was available for 1:40 p.m. appointment. I checked in to the receptionist desk at 1:36 p.m. and the nurse at the receptionist desk took a Covid-19 test. Dr. David Abiva said that the test confirmed that I had Covid-19. However, "he said the system is down, he will email me to come back for a shot, and released me without no treatment. However, I've received NO follow-ups as of now, 9:55 a.m. Yesterday, after leaving PIH, I headed to CVS and got a Covid-19 shot.

My name is (PHI removed). My office visit was not so good. It was a quick visit. As soon as he came in, he sat down and looked tired and kind of like not really listening. He just recommended me to all different kinds of places to go to. And he put a stethoscope on supposedly to hear my heartbeat, but it wasn't even touching my chest. So I'm not very happy.

I realize Dr Abiva is a Dr's assistant & not yet a full MD He entered the room & just stood by the door with a mask on He was on the computer & barely looked at me Checked to see if I had seen Dr (name removed) recently ( was 2 years ago) I just needed an authorization to see Dr (name removed) so that was my purpose I asked Mr. Abiva to check my left ear as it felt like I had a wax deposit He quickly did so & said the ear was "clear" even though it does not feel that way & my regular GP Dr. Jae removed a large plug a year ago I was not impressed with this young man's lack of engagement with a patient. I hope he can do better in the future Thank you

The follow up is poor. They scheduled a bunch of tests and then just kind of leave you on your own to figure it out.

this was my first time at the office and had a great experience. received a call from the office the day after my appointment as David was going to reach out to my other doctor for information. This shows me that they keep their word on what they are going to do. looking forward to having a doctor office that I can rely on

I recommend it because there in that office the doctor and the staff treated me very well, they were very kind to me and the questions I asked them were answered and I very much agreed with this consultation, so for me I would recommend it.

David Abiva is very patient and listens carefully to everything I have to say. I feel very comfortable with him and he makes sure to not just treat my symptoms, but also find the root causes.

Dr Abiva was very present! He listened understood and I appreciate his advice. I was the happiest I have ever been leaving that office. The staff was very friendly and helpful to my recent wounds, bumps n scrapes from a fall. Very thankful for my visit.

I believe it was question two. I rate it very low in error. It should have been a four and not somewhat, but most definitely. I got ahead of myself. He is a new provider and overall he did what needed to be done for me. And he is definitely a good listener. Thank you. Goodbye.

(Name removed) could use listening skills when venting a new patient. She grew inpatient with me when answering some of her vetting questions. I did not feel that she was my advocate.

I had an appointment with the PA David, and I much prefer him to my primary, who is Dr. (name removed). I plan to schedule all my appointments in the future with David before my primary care physician, Dr. (name removed).

The ladies at the check in desk are always unhappy and almost rude. They don't treat people kindly and are not Welcoming. The rest of the office, nurses and doctors are great.

An appointment for a physical wasn't available with my PCP until 5 MONTHS later when i called! This is ridiculous! I needed a physical for a new job and so could obviously not wait that long. I'm glad Mr Abiva was able to see me and he was great, but I should have been able to see my regular doctor.

Couldn't get an appointment with regular PCP as soon as needed so saw office PA. First time seeing the PA and was very impressed.

Very difficult to get an appointment with primary doctor - two, three months is ridiculous. After these many years with PIH, considering changing to Providence. Heard good things about them and the ease in which to be able to see a doctor vs going to urgent care all the time. PIH needs more providers to take care of patients.

Overall positive experience

I was a new patient to this provider. I wanted to see a doctor but one was not available for almost 4 weeks For new patients.

I went in for post surgery as needed. He did not check the wound or talk about the surgery. I was able to get referrals for a liver biopsy after asking twice

The office is a four story complex............... unfortunately the elevators were not operating. This would make it difficult or hazardous for many of the patients to keep their appointments.

David Abiva is a fantastic PA. He always helps me whenever I see him. He's great highly recommend him I see him more than I see my primary lol he's carrying and very knowledgeable.

The HCP listened to my concerns and questions and provided good insights and recommendations

Mr. Abiva, D., aside from listening attentively to current health issues, was very empathetic and took his time in answering my questions and concerns. Highly recommend him to others for their health care!

I haven't been with or long enough with the doctor to know how I really feel about it yet.

I called to schedule an appointment to read because I was forced to because I had to refill a medication that I've been taking for over 10 years for my Hashimoto's disease. I am frustrated that I'm forced to make a doctor's appointment because I need to see someone annually and then David came in, spent two seconds with me. I said, I'm there to refill my prescription. He refilled my prescription, which was great, but then left. So it's just frustrating that I had to be forced to do this, to make an appointment and to pay the money because I'm on a high deductible plan just to refill a medication that I am not going to ever heal from or never require. So frustrating. So that's all I have to say. Thank you.

Doctor Abiva is an amazing doctor who really cares about his patients. I wish all doctors were like him.

Couldn't get appt with my regular doctor- she was booked a week out and I was wheezing. No other doctor could be had. I saw the PA. He seemed rushed. I had to get a second appt with a real doctor the next week. Very disappointed with PIH. I AM THINKING OF LEAVING. IT WAS THAT BAD.

Yes, I will never go to Dr. David again or his nurse that was with him in the room. I didn't like either one of them.
