Dr. Lin was initially drawn to medicine as an intellectual pursuit. “As an undergraduate, I became fascinated with the interface between technology and biology, and eventually came to the realization that there was no better way to pursue these interests than as a physician.”
Dr. Lin chose neurointerventional radiology as his specialty because he favored neuroscience, and there was nothing he found more intriguing than the study of a person’s brain with non-invasive imaging. “I spent my PhD years studying magnetic resonance imaging of acute stroke, and this led me to diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology.”
Dr. Lin is a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology. His primary clinical interest is in acute stroke intervention. In his spare time, Dr. Lin enjoys spending time with his two sons on the soccer field, both as a fan and a referee, and through Boy Scout activities.
