Maternity Tour Los Angeles
Join us for a maternity tour and learn about having your baby at PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital.
- We will inform you about what to do and where to go on the day of your admittance, parking details, hospital admission, and all the basic logistics.
- We will visit the Labor & Delivery Unit (L&D), the Postpartum Unit, information and point out the Operating Rooms and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU level 3) and give information for those two units in case the expecting mothers have a delivery through a cesarean section (C-Section). For security reasons, we do not explore these areas.
- Likewise, we refer to the birth certificate and the social security process of the baby, length of stay, visitors, meals, what to bring, skin-to-skin, the date of discharge, and more.
- Registration is required. We recommend you register in advance since the tours have limited availability. Please complete the registration with the expecting mother's name.
- Your partner or support person is welcome to attend. Two companions maximum, adults only, please.
- Children are not allowed on the day of the tour.
