Bringing a newborn into your family is a BIG deal, and there is a lot to know. This class will cover some of the most common questions and basics about newborn care and family transitions.
We'll cover infant nutrition and hydration needs and feeding options (breast, formula, bottles); newborn physical and emotional needs and behaviors; basic "how tos" of diapering, swaddling, holding/burping, and bathing; safety topics; and choosing professionals to help you on your new journey.
Parent topics include recovery from pregnancy and delivery, lactation, life changes and support for both parents, and early parenting skills and tools.
This class is for both the pregnant and non-pregnant parent. Please register one parent per couple.
A confirmation email will be sent during the week prior to the class.
