Immunotherapy, also known as biotherapy, uses substances from living organisms, such as hormones, vaccines and bacteria, to fight cancer. You may receive biotherapy through a vein during infusion therapy.

Your Care Team
Work with chemotherapy-certified nurses to explain what to expect before and after your treatment. Rely on your care team to help coordinate your care and manage your treatment’s side effects. Your care team may include a pharmacist to help ensure you’re taking your medications safely and correctly.
