Dr. Espiritu is a great doctor and he motivates me to do my best to be in good health I'm very thankful for all his effort he provides for me .every time I walk out of my office visit with Dr. Espiritu I walk out very motivated

I like my dr very much. I just would like to get an appointment when I need one and not have to wait an hour or longer to be seen. When we as patients are late we are not able to see the Dr but why do we have to wait so long to be seen? I have experienced this with many PIH Drs, as I take my parents to their PIH Dr appointments and I'm very tired of waiting over an hour to be seen. My parents being in their 80's are not the most patient people. I really hope PiH changes this very soon.

Dr. Espiritu is a wonderful physician. I also appreciated his friendly nurse, Ricky and the convenience of the in office phlebotomist, (name removed). (Name removed) was also great about putting me at ease and drawing my blood. I had to wait for about an hour, but no doubt that is because Dr. Espiritu takes time with his other patients as well as me. Thank you!

Dr Espiritu has been my DR since he started his practice 10 years ago. He has shown me respect and valued what I had to say. I trust him fully with my health care needs. The only negative is trying to get an appointment with him in a timely manner.

Initial appointment had to be rescheduled by PIH. Arrived early and waited almost a jour before being called and another 45 minutes before being seen by Dr.

A doctor was very thorough in his explanation and his oversight over my treatment and all prescriptions. My only concern is that my appointment was at 11 a.m. and he didn't see me till 12 noon. You know, it might be minor to some people, but you know, I have a real bad back and I had to sit in a wheelchair for an hour and I didn't get an apology or anything of the sort. Thank you.

I'd like to add that the time to make an appointment with a provider at that family practice is about... It takes about a month or a little over a month to get an appointment with a provider, with a provider that one chooses. In this case with me, it took about a month and a half for me to be able to get my appointment with Dr. Espiritu since he's been my provider for some time. That's one. And two, it did take about... It does take about 30 minutes from the time of my appointment to be seen by my provider. I'm not sure if they're scheduling appointments with other patients or they're

Im a retired PIH nurse with chronic conditions n can NEVERbe seen when needed. Im told go to ER or UC then when i do i get scolded n told " your pcp couldve taken care of this ( but i cant get in till 2 months frm now ) it makes me sad n angry to see whats happened to PIH I have ppo it still doesnt matter

I am very satisfied with this provider. He listens to what you have to say, he does not rush, and makes me feel comfortable knowing my health is on good hands.

My appointment was at 11 am. I arrived on time was not seen until after 12:10 pm and wasn't given summary waited in the room no one came back I went out and asked they just said we will mail it to you.

Dr. Espiritu is a very knowledgeable, good doctor. With his busy schedule it's hard to get an appointment is a timely manner.

Dr.. Espiritu is great! He listens, empathizes, but also gives you the truth on what you need to do do get healthy. He explains so I understand, not in the doctor terms.

He did well, I think. He was listening to me and so I'm very thankful for him. He listened to me, and he asked any, I need any help, I need any questions, and he was always encouraging to me. So, he's a good doctor, and I'm thankful for him. And he's concerned about my health and so I'm thankful for that.

I was very pleased with Dr. Espiritu. The only complain I have is that I called in February to schedule a physical and my appt was given for AUG 19TH. Six months later.

It was a great experience. The entire team was awesome!

I had to reschedule my appointment from July and the only appt that was available was in NOVEMBER!!!! I ended up calling in to see another physician and was given an appt timely. However, an hour later I was called and told that that appt had been cancelled because it wasn't an urgent need and I wasn't sick based on the reason I needed to see a physician. Why does someone else who's not in charge of my care able to determine if I am sick or not? Why is it their call and not mine or even an RNs call? Additionally, on another note, my husband had surgery July 1 and therefore off of work for about six weeks, not receiving a paycheck, yet I had to pay $60 for medical forms for his company (and federal) for FMLA and disability. Why are you charging such an AWFUL amount especially when there is NO MONEY coming in for that purpose!@?!?

Great visit-easy to relate to and very thorough

My negative responses are because after waiting in the exam room for 50 minutes, I left, never having seen the doctor. It is taking three months to get an appointment which is disrespectful to patients and then after arriving on time, waiting almost an hour and still not being seen is more disrespectful. I left. I will be looking for a different office and doctor soon.

Dr. Espiritu is a class act.

In general, it's ALWAYS difficult getting an appointment to see my doctor in lass than 90 days. It's never critical enough to go to Urgent Care but I know I can if I need. In most cases I prefer to speak with or see my doctor who knows my background and me personally instead of an urgent care doctor that doesn't know me from (name removed). Dr. Espiritu is ALWAYS professional, personal and doesn't rush through our visit and I really appreciate that.

Too much waiting even with appointment scheduled. I think PIH standard going downhill. But I guess PIH doesn't really care for this anymore, probably interested in profits. Hopefully improve in future.

I like the way Dr. Espiritu has taken care of my mom. I believe that she has the best medical team available for her. I think Dr. Espiritu just needs better assistance in the weighing and taking vitals. They need to be aware of more Alzheimer's patients' conditions and have a lot more patience and take a lot more time to do it.

For whatever reason, I'm not able to schedule an appointment after this year ends, my other Pih providers did not seem to have a problem making an appointment a year out

It has been six days since I was seen by the doctor. He prescribed a medication. The medication has not been given to the pharmacy and I'm still waiting to hear from them. I have called the office twice and the medication is not at the pharmacy yet. Left messages with the prescription person, Raseel, and left message for the office and the doctor. So, I don't know. This is not appropriate. Thank you.

I really like Dr. Espiritu because he makes me feel comfortable and relaxed and I trust him with my care. I think that he's an extremely good doctor. He knows what he's doing and he has a great professionalism and mannerism with the patients. I'm going to bring my whole family to him. Thank you.

Yes, this is (name removed). I've had a great experience working with Dr. Espiritu and each time that I see him, he's friendly, he's encouraging, and he asks me if I have any concerns. So, yeah, he's really approachable. So, I encourage, you know, I encourage him to stay around, you know, locally, stay around with PIH in my local office because I'm going to continue to see him as long as I can. Thank you.

Trying to get an appointment is difficult. If you need to make an appointment with the Dr, you will have to wait a couple of months.

I really appreciate the fact that Dr Espiritu explains everything in a manner that I can understand. He doesn't rush through my annual visit and makes sure he listens to any concerns that I have.

The office clerks need to be more attentive to patients, less time on texting and talking and using phones, conversating about what took place over the weekend. As a patient, it's nice to be able to be listened, attended to in a timely manner and not necessarily know what the clerk is going to do in the weekend or is planning on doing or text on the phone. That would be my best advice that I would try to use to improve. Minimize the amount of cell phone time that they can use during the work hours. Thank you.

I always feel safe to express my feelings about my cares and concerns with this doctor. He listens and gives his advice clearly and carefully. Love this doctor and staff.

This was the only provider that thought outside of the box after being sick for over two weeks, going to urgent care and seeing another doctor. He asked questions and looked around and examined me and saw stuff that others missed. And so far, due to his treatment after over two weeks and being on his treatment for only five days, there was a great, huge difference.

I would like to say Dr. Espiritu is wonderful. I really, really like him. But he must have a heck of a lot of patience because I was a minute or two late to my appointment. I did not see him or he did not see me for another hour. So I could only deduce that he was spending more time with his patients, which is honorable, but my time is worth something as well. So anyway, thank you so much. Bye-bye.

Dr Espiritu was well prepared to discuss the discharge instructions from my recent hospital stay. He led me through the discharge instructions requesting my feedback to assure that I understood. He took the time necessary. He was very professional and treated me with respect.

Hello, I really like my doctor, Dr. Espiritu. He's a great doctor. I just have a terrible time trying to get in to see him. And that is my only complaint. I get good service from him when I can get in and see him. And I've had some really bad things to talk to him about, but I haven't been able to get in and see him until now. And finally, I'm getting some action on my frozen shoulder. But it's been very, very hard to get in and see him. So that is my only complaint.

sometimes it takes a while to get an appointment waiting time is quite long; waited for 1 hour to be seen but the doctor spent time to listen to my concerns and explained the results of my lab results

My appointment was at 8:00am, I was taken back to the room by 8:30am. His assistant came into the room at 9:15am to say the doctor would be in soon. I waited until 10:00am by myself without ever seeing another person. The doctor never showed up. I walked out of the room, where another staff member said the doctor would be in soon. Waiting 2 hours for a doctor is not acceptable. Doctor Espiritu notoriously runs hours late every time I see him, this is why I book early in the morning. Running that late at 8am tells me that office has serious problems. I will not be going back there. I will find another doctor within the PIH system. I can be reached at (PHI removed)
