Adnan Ameer MD is a gastroenterologist specializing in advanced endoscopy services. Dr. Ameer is fellowship trained in gastroenterology/hepatology and served as Chief Fellow in 2017. He completed additional fellowship training in advanced endoscopy and endosonography at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in 2018, earning recognition as an Interventional Fellow. His special interests include colon cancer screening, endoscopic mucosal resections (EMR) of large polyps, GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), Barrett’s esophagus, pancreatic-biliary diseases, gastrointestinal malignancy and small bowel diseases. He offers the following endoscopic procedures:

  • Upper Endoscopy and Colonoscopy
  • Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
  • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
  • Capsule Endoscopy and Enteroscopy (small bowel evaluation)
  • Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR)
  • Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG – Feeding tube)

That's right, I arrived at the doctor's office, and all the ladies who received me were very kind. Then the lady in the middle also paid a lot of attention, and they took care of my documentation. Despite the fact that I made a mistake and it wasn't my appointment, the doctor still saw me. He is an excellent person with great charisma as a doctor, and he answered everything I needed to know. He also scheduled my appointment for the treatment I need. I am very satisfied with the service and the excellent care I received.

Staff at front desk were extremely polite and professional, nurses that I saw were very thorough, personable and caring. I would have liked a little more time with the doctor, it seemed he was very knowledgeable, but a little rushed. There were more things I would have like to have discussed.

It was a wonderful experience. All the staff came to me with enthusiasm and seemed sure of (unreadable). They were very professional. I felt very comfortable when the anesthesiologist arrived, making jokes and everything was fine. I was nervous at first, but then I felt very comfortable. So I would go back to do my exam again, and I would do it again with complete confidence and pleasure. Thank you to all the staff and I recommend them. They are excellent, they know their profession, and they know how to take care of people very well. They don't do it for the sake of earning money, but because they have that vocation, and that was what I loved. I definitely recommend it.

The doctor is excellent, Dr. Ameer. But those who help him are not. I didn't like Dr. (name removed). The doctor attends well. That's the only thing I could say, that the doctor is good, because they didn't explain to me how to do the test for (unreadable). I asked them and they didn't explain to me and said they didn't know and didn't understand. I'd never before seen that, but the doctor (unreadable). Thanks.

I would like for the people at reception be kinder and I would like for the doctors to explain things better and that they explain things more thorough. I like that for me and others.

All they know is I go to a lot of doctors. This is probably the first doctor I've gone to in years that was actually human. And the fact that you could talk to him and he understood what you're saying and didn't blow off certain factors or things. So I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. I thought he was fantastic. Thanks.

Hi, my name is (PHI removed). The service was terrific. Essentially, I had come from a GI in Glendale, (name removed), whose office was not moving fast enough. They were setting up my procedures wrong and essentially a bunch of stuff. And when I found Dr. Adnan Ameer, I was immediately greeted by (name removed) at the front desk. She was perfect. She helped me set up an appointment. She worked with me. She helped me through the (name removed) process. Absolutely amazing. And then the day of my appointment comes and I need to go back to Dr. Adnan. And it was just, he listened to me. He spent a good amount of time with me. He set up two procedures to further investigate my problem. I felt like that I was really being listened to. And I thought Dr. Adnan Ameer was perfect. I am just starting my care with him, but I look forward to continuing.

I had a wonderful experience and the doctor was amazing. The staff helped me get a new appointment. They're very friendly, respectful, and I felt well cared for. In other clinics I feel rushed or like I'm not as important in this experience. I felt seen and respected. It was a really great experience and I think what you guys are doing is amazing. Because it's not common. I just want to say thank you so much.

The lady at the front desk on Friday, March 15 at 9:30 am (sorry, I forgot her name) was amazing! She was kind, professional and courteous. The system had me down for May 15, not March 15. The lady at the front worked magic and got me in to see a doctor within 30 minutes of my arrival and that's with the scheduling mix-up. I was so grateful.

Front desk staff gave me incorrect referrals, claimed they had no way of sending prior auth to another doctors office, and overall weren't particularly helpful. Didn't seem to want to help me and at time came off as inept to put nicely. Great doctor but the office staff is why I'm concerned about my treatment plan

Well, for me, and he is professional, he took care of me well, I left, he asked me a lot of questions, exercise for me that yes, I can recommend him, but right now I'm going to see me, I'll call him for the appointment, he doesn't have time, but for me I found it very very very good, very nice, very professional. I would recommend it with my family.
