When I went to reschedule my appointment, the lady had canceled my appointment and rescheduled it for a different date without letting me know. I have been dealing with the issue for months and I was feeling frustrated, depressed and exhausted. My visit with Dr. Nguyen made me feel hopeful. Dr. Nguyen has a great bedside manner. She was very knowledgeable and compassionate. The office staff was very nice and the medical assistant, (name removed) was so helpful.

I don't like how hard it is to schedule an appointment to see any doctor in this organization in a timely manner. I don't consider two months to be timely. Also, I was trying to get through to your billing department about my bill. I was on hold for 45 minutes before I was required to leave my information. I didn't want to leave a number to be called back because I want to talk to someone when I'm available not when they have time for me.

It's ridiculous that it took me 4 months to get an appointment. Maybe my probablemente could have had a different diagnosis. Now it's too late for a cure. The actual office visit itself was great. The staff and the doctor were great.

When I booked, the next available appointment was about 2-3 months out.

Dr. Nguyen did a great job in addressing my skin concerns and provided really good care and recommendations on treatment.

The office is a little far for me but I do like the doctor. My only concern is that she burned something on my upper right arm and it blew up the skin like a bubble. It's never happened before. I called Saturday but there closed.

The doctor was up to date with my medical conditions. She was genuinely concerned about my medical problems.

Her staff was very respectable and very nice. It was my first visit, so this is the first time I visited this doctor. And she knew right away what I had, and we'll see what happens with the medicine that she gave me, and we'll go from there. But I did like her very, very much.

I am impressed with the entire staff.

My appt. was at 1p.m. Dr. examined my whole body, took a biopsy, dressed and taped the removed mole. I was in my car by 1:39 p.m. I was very impressed. Only negative was I had to wait 2 months to get in for an appt.

I was welcomed when I walked in and told they'll call me in soon. I didn't wait very long before being called in. Ms. Nguyen was very nice. She listened to my concerns and fears, then explained very thing she was going to do and why. She answered all of my questions and concerns. She made me feel comfortable and less concerned than before I saw her. Her assistant was very nice too.

I always leave feeling they have my best interests in mind. Skin cancer is a serious issue and I feel I am in good hands with Dr. Nguyen!

Dr. Nguyen was awesome! She was very kind and did a fantastic job of going over what she was going to do, and meticulously checked over all of my body to make sure there were no problematic issues with my skin. I'm happy that my GP recommended me to her.

Unfortunate this provider in this location is last day, she moves to La Mirada location, it's difficult to follow up with this provider in the future.

I just wanted to say that the staff at the dermatology office in the Wells building was phenomenal. They directed me exactly where I needed to go. They were courteous. They were clear. They brought me back to my room in a very timely fashion. They set up the room, made sure it was clean, made sure I was comfortable. They asked me all the pertinent questions that they needed to ask me. They explained what the next steps would be and then as soon as my provider came in, Dr. Nguyen was amazing. She listened to all of my concerns. She checked every single one of my concerns. She explained everything clearly. She asked me if I had any questions, if I understood what I was being told. She let me know what my follow-up care would look like and I was just really impressed with the overall process and care plan that I received and I would 100% recommend family, friends, and strangers and passers-by that this is a great office to visit if they want.

However, the front office staff is not very friendly while walking in. I felt she was a little bit rude. This was just the lady at the front desk. The lady that the nurse that I spoke to throughout my visit was very kind, but the one at the front desk was not very nice.

Dr. Nguyen is one of the most caring doctors I have ever seen. I am lucky to have her.

The office at the Whittier (Putnam) office is much nicer and easier to deal with. The staff here was short with us and less caring. The doctor was good but I wish doctors would give alternatives when they prescribe medication. The medication she prescribed was $75 and that's not feasible for everyone. There should be an alternative. Getting an appt with a dermatologist here took 4 months and that's unacceptable. By the time we actually saw a doctor, the issues had changed and she couldn't see what the actual problem was. Last, I realize that 18 year olds are technically adults. But they're not. My daughter is 18 and was very uncomfortable and unsure when speaking to the doctor and office staff. She kept deferring to me and yet the office staff (especially) kept ignoring me. That was rude. 18 year olds are still learning how to handle situations and it would be smart to listen to their parents, especially when the individual is obviously uncomfortable and defers to the parent.

My doctor seemed rushed!

I always leave an appointment feeling usefully smarter than when I walked in. She knows her stuff and communicates very well.

She is very personable and easy to talk to. She shows interest in my case and care and is efficient in providing care.

I really felt the diagnosis that I got, you know, wasn't thorough. Based on my due diligence, it stated that you needed a wood light to determine if it's vitiligo or it is a fungus. I know she has experience, but even if whatever they diagnosed it with, I felt just a topical steroid was not good enough. The patches that I have are there and they need to be taken care of right away and to be scheduled for August in four months to see how the steroids work is not good enough for me. I know there's light therapy. She told me there is no light therapy for face and I see it all over the internet and throughout discussions with people that I know that have had light therapy. So I don't understand that. So I'm very disappointed that my diagnosis and my situation was not...

This doctor is the best doctor at PIH. She is so caring and thoughtful. I have a lot of issues that don't relate to her specialty of dermatology and she goes out of her way to ask and check in on me. It makes me feel good knowing that she cares about her patients so much by looking beyond the issue I come in for and see how everything intertwines. I have never met a doctor like her and just want to make sure she gets the recognition she deserves, she really is amazing!!

I think the service was fantastic. I got waited on very quickly. Everything was explained to me. My medication was ready to pick up. I would love to come back here anytime, even from the beginning of the door to the end of the door. The staff is wonderful and I thank them so much for their kindness.

My in person experience with the office staff and with Dr. Nguyen and her assistant was excellent. Though they both spoke very fast and this was my first experience with a dermatologist, they were willing to answer questions and gave clear explanations. It was a very brief visit but I didn't feel particularly rushed. The scheduling system, however, leaves a lot to be desired. As a new patient, trying to make the first appointment online was almost impossible so I called and was able to schedule something. Two weeks before the appointment I received a message to reschedule. Again, the online system was impossible, not showing any availability for months for any provider. Calling didn't get me through to anyone but fortunately I work next door to the office so after 25 minutes on hold I walked over to the office, still on hold, and the office staff was able to assist me. I received email and text reminders about the appointment and check in and completed that the day before my appointment, including payment. The morning of, I received 4 calls from the office with no messages and called back only to have voicemail options telling me I'd have a response in 24 hours. That's unacceptable. If you need to call me multiple times, you need to explain why. When I arrived the office staff didn't have an explanation, either.

Although the 3 month wait for an appointment after primary referral was not a positive experience, my appointment was very positive. From office staff to nurse to doctor I was very pleased. Apparently I have precancerous spots and I hope that long wait did not make my situation worse regarding any possible skin cancer. Very pleased with doctor and all staff. Very efficient.

I would like the appointments to not be so far apart. I called in August or September and they gave me the appointment until December.
