Everything went smoothly, in a timely manner. First time I've seen dr zhu. Very nice, listened well, gave me "homework" for my diet.

Everyone in this office were outstanding. From the receptionist, to the nurses, The Doctor Who administered my anesthesia, Technician in the procedure room, the person who wheeled me to my car, and Dr. Zhu. They all made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and they are all so friendly and welcoming. I especially liked the Nurse who prepped me. She was so kind, patient, answered questions I had, she just made me feel so comfortable that it took my nerves away. Sorry I don't remember her name. I appreciate Dr. Zhu taking time to come out into the recovery room and going over my results with me. Great medical staff all the way around. Thank you PIH

I guess the doctor, he was, Dr. Z was okay. But the telephone, the operators, it took me an hour. An hour just to reschedule my appointment and nobody answered. You guys need to do more, better on picking up calls operator-wise. It's horrible.

Yes, the person that helped me, it was very helpful, very courteous, very polite. He answered all my questions. He was a really good physical therapist. Nurse (name removed) was professional and explained the procedure process with care during the preparation.

It took too long to see the doctor. It took 45 minutes to see him and then I was transferred to a room and I had to wait another 15 minutes by the time he came in. That was too long.

The check in process was easy with the online option.

I got there 10 minutes before my appointment. And waited 1 hour for the doctor to see me. I don't understand the point of having an appointment. Also everything that was told to me was the same thing my suergon told me. This could have been a virtual appointment.

And good afternoon, I had an appointment on the 17th this month and the truth is that the doctor, he doesn't even know what he's doing, I took him the prescriptions that he gave me in the emergency and now it turns out that he says that who prescribed the twins for me, well great, that I went to the pharmacy for writing them alone, she no longer remembers what she is doing or what is happening.

The wait time is pretty ridiculous appointment was for 2:30 got to office 2:16 signed in and was taken to room at 2:56 and Dr walked in at 3:15 what's the point of an appointment if you are t seen on time , staff should not patient doctor will be in shortly if the is not true. I under stand some patients need more time with the doctor but it's not fair to the other patient to make them wait. It defeats the whole purpose of an appointment.

The entire nursing staff was exceptional the care that I was given was beyond what I expected (four names removed) & the nurse that put the tiny IV needle in cared for me as if I was a family member

The process was so concise and worked like clockwork. And despite the awkwardness of the procedure, I felt comfortable and at ease.

It is the first time that they treat me with respect and professionalism, I thank the person who recommended the Doctor, and everything is connected, from The Doctor to this hospital, and all the secretaries and nurses treat him with great respect, and everything is fast for all appointments, I definitely thank God for finding these places to take care of my health.

The anesthesiologist was late (not a problem) but I wish my wife would have been told because she was worried because it took much longer than expected.

I'm was very grateful there with the staff, the doctor. The doctor attended me very well and with much pleasure. I didn't have the address, but at the entrance there was a nurse and I asked (unreadable) one hanging on the wall and did so with much pleasure. I told my family they helped me happily and that they told me to go to the 2nd floor to room 200, 201. I did tell my wife that one didn't help me. I was a disappointed ?? I think the staff and Dr could have done better. It felt cold and non welcoming The girls at the front seemed more concerned about the new Starbucks drink that just came out than the patient. If I didn't feel like I needed this procedure done ASAP I would probably go to another Dr.

Appointment times do not need to be two hours prior to an outpatient procedure. I spent more than an hour doing nothing in the waiting room.

overall, good experience... except, we have to pay for parking... I have never seen this before at any other hospital i have visited.

I would like to say that the front office person who signed me in, was one of the nicest I've seen, she was very nice, explained everything and she smiled, something you don't see much at other PIH offices. The Nurse who called me in Lisa, she was very nice as well, she was very professional. The nurse in the room where Dr Zhu did the procedure I'm not sure of the spelling (name removed) ? anyways another great person and very professional...everyone was great. I was very nervous, and they helped make me feel at ease. Thank you again for great service.

Lab results were called by the doctor's nurse, I mean, I guess nurse, and she is very short and not very nice.

Yes, I went in with a pancreatic cyst. I was expecting to be scheduled for a procedure to see if my cyst is malignant or not. But Dr. Zhu decided that it's too small and he was not able to tell me if it was going to be malignant or benign. And he scheduled me, he wanted me to have an MRI for six months and then we would know if it's going to be malignant or benign. So that, to me, I wasn't comfortable with that suggestion because that gives me six months of being worried and concerned that I don't know if my cyst, even though he said it was really small, it could be benign or it could be malignant. That's the only concern. He was very respectful. He's a nice doctor.

The next appointment always can not be scheduled at the time of service, said due to calender is not available,will call later. Also a follow up appointment should be scheduled may be a week or two right after the scheduled procedure to let patient know the results of the procedure. You can't just rely on all patients to read the report post at Porter. Not all patients understand the report.

I had to call twice and wait about one week before I was told ok to be seen by Dr. Zhu. I wish I could receive the call back sooner from this Dr's office to let me know whether I can be seen by this Dr.

I am deeply sorry to see the extremely unprofessional handling of the patient on the fourth floor, particularly by a gentleman. My appointment was scheduled for 9:45, and I arrived at 9:15 and went to the fourth floor based on the instructions on the second floor for checking in. A male receptionist asked me to fill in my name and then to sit and wait to be called. However, even by 9:56, there was no call, despite my inquiries at the front desk, where the male attendant rudely asked me to sit down and wait patiently. Unable to bear it any longer, I approached again at 9:56, and the gentleman still ignored me, but a lady helped me by checking and informed me that I should go to the second floor. I am very puzzled; why didn't the gentleman notify me earlier? Why is he so unfamiliar with the business and so irresponsible towards patients? The staff on the second floor handled my matter in a professional manner and attitude.

Dr. Zhu was very polite and tried to understand what I was trying to explain to him that I wanted to talk about and I don't think that, because he's not in the Parkinson's doctor or GI specialist in Parkinson's. Not really aware of the condition that I was speaking of and the procedure that I was thinking of and he would have to adjusted it. He referred to my question as me having more like a feeding tube. It's more of - it's called ... (INAUDIBLE). Anyhow, it's to bypass the stomach so that the medication can go directly into my intestine or vice versa, (INAUDIBLE) and it's just a medication so I can eat early and eat fine. But I think

Being new in the Southern California area it was very difficult finding a doctor who would see me, but once I found a doctor it was easy to see him.

The entire office staff impressed me with their diligence and politeness and efficiency, and I was very happy with everything about the procedure, except I think the doctor made it a little rough on the way out, because he left me with a pretty bad case of hemorrhoids, which is something I've never had before. But other than that, I just want to say I went into this appointment for my first colonoscopy worried, and I came out extremely satisfied and happy with the whole procedure.
