All staff members have been soo kind with me and have answered all my questions. There is no other place I would feel safe with.

The office staff across the hall, the ultrasound team was also excellent. They are kind and pleasant and really take their time. My tech even grabbed my urine cup from the office across the way for me and took it back for me. Just really went out of her way.

Dr. Was very helpful and knowledgeable about my case. I am grateful for the opportunity to have met her. The most compassionate person I've met in a long time in this setting.

The overall experience is good, but the front office needs improvement because it feels like the receptionists don't want to be there. Like, they just don't, didn't sound enthusiastic at all, and they just, like, don't want to do their job at all. But overall, the providers are really good. Thank you.

Doctor explained everything thoroughly. Nurse assistant was friendly, helpful To me. I wouldn't mind seeing them again if I had.

They do a really good job of keeping everything very organized and professional. Everyone was really nice and treated me with a lot of respect. I think the only area of improvement would be your app. Maybe just making some tweaks here and there. But overall, I was very satisfied.

Dr.Mercurcio and her assistant/nurse were great. This was definitely one of my better experiences at PIH. I'm a nurse for a different healthcare organization and I felt like I was treated very well as a patient at my visit, just like the way I treat my patients. I would highly recommend this provider and this office for women's health care needs.

My concerns and questions were answered right away by the doctor. I truly appreciate the time she took to explain and help me feel secure with my pregnancy. The nurse who help with my vitals was also very kind and friendly. Love this staff.

I was asked how I was feeling and I brought up a few things that were bothering me. To each thing like insomnia, or joint pain, so just very quickly said 'I can't do anything about that' and sometimes would say 'sorry wish I could' as an afterthought. Why ask how I'm doing if the only things you care about are things you can write prescriptions for? It felt very dismissive. And now I have to have appointments every two weeks? Why are you dragging me back every two weeks just to ask me questions you don't care about and dismiss the things that ARE bothering me, whether or not you can fix them? I can message if something is wrong, but it's incredibly frustrating to miss work for such a pointless interaction. I'm so unsatisfied with the course of my care so far and I don't feel like my concerns about missing work are being heard.

Staff was very nice, but they did not introduce themselves. Doctor was very nice and took her time. I really appreciate her answering all the questions and not making me feel rushed.

I was very pleased with my visit. The only thing that I didn't like is that I have to wait for over 20 minutes for once I was in the room already, I mean, I have to wait like me from 15 to 20 minutes. That's it, but I'm very happy with the visit. Thank you.

Doctor and nurse were great and friendly. But seems like front office secretary doesn't like her job. She just spoke couple words with me and could've been more friendly and courteous. Otherwise, love the staff and the office and the efficiency of my appointment.

Dr. Mercurio spent a lot of time with me and remembering who I was from a year ago. She was patient and she was friendly. She's my favorite doctor that I have to see annually.

Dr. Mercurio was very helpful and provided lots of explanations during my appointment and I felt very comfortable even though she's not my primary OB-GYN.

Dr. Mercurio was super attentive and made me feel comfortable during my exam. She is easy to talk to address any concerns I have.

Dr. Mercurio Was very professional. She is very understanding and takes the time to listen to you and explain procedures and the purpose for them. She and her staff were pleasant answered all my questions and made sure that all my concerns were addressed.

The staff was very courteous and I believe they answered my questions when I did have a specific question when I arrived. I also had a question before I arrived for my appointment and I did call the front desk and they were very helpful to answer my question and the concern that I had. The front desk did a really good job, I believe, of just answering the questions that I had and they also did take me in a very timely manner.

I try to avoid using any office that is on the hospital campus so I don't have to pay for parking. More doctors are needed so there is not such a long wait to get an appointment. Dr. Mercurio was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Dr. Mercurio is wonderful. She thoroughly explains everything that she's doing. She answers all of your questions and she goes above and beyond for her patients. She's honestly an asset to PIH and deserves all the recognition possible.

Overall good experience

Excellent, excellent provider. She was perfect. I can't believe that she's so thorough and very gentle and I was uncomfortable and my experience, if I would have had that experience a long time ago, I'm like 53, if I would have had that experience when I was younger, I would have been there a long time ago.

The person at the reception desk was very polite and helpful. When I got into the office, the one who took my blood pressure, she was very rude, she was very bitter, she didn't smile, she didn't make me feel at ease, and I was scared, and I told her that. Then when the doctor came in, she says, don't worry, and then I was just, you know, sniffling a little bit. And I didn't even freak out like she said I did. She told me I freaked out twice, and I didn't. My mom is my caregiver, and she was there to witness everything. Now, I wouldn't recommend her. No, thank you.

Amazing service, friendly staff

Doctor Mercurio was patient with our family and listened to our concerns and explained the process of her exam and next steps. Highly recommended and we felt comfortable with her bedside manner!

I had to wait 45 minutes to be seen this didn't bother me because I understand things happen, however what I did not appreciate was when walked up to the counter to inquire about how much longer it would take since it was already 30 minutes past my appointment time, the gentleman who checked me was very polite about it but the lady sitting next time him was snippy. Even though I was not addressing her she asked what my name was and seemed annoyed. That seemed unwarranted and I did not appreciate it.

Staff are always so kind! They explain everything they're going to do before they do it and are willing to answer questions. They always give the best care!

This is the second time I see the girl at front desk with just the nastiest attitude. I need to get her name for a proper survey. She sits by the woman's center for the OB patients with big lips. Sorry but I'm a medical assistant at my clinic and I would not treat patients in the manner she does. Very cold demeanor. Doctor was amazing though!

I don't ever write reviews but I feel it's necessary for this experience. Dr was super nice when I walked in, it was my first time meeting her. When she asked me if I was going to get my TDAP vaccine I said no, I felt like I was a little kid getting scolded in a principals office. Not once did she ask in a nice way, "oh ok, you don't want to get it, well is there any questions I can answer for you to ease your worries?" I'm a first time mom and more then ever I am very cautious what I put in my body. I would have appreciated a little more concern from my Dr. the energy in the room definitely shifted from fun and lighthearted to super awkward once we said no to the TDAP and circumcision. All of the Dr.'s have been incredible at Whittier pih but unfortunately I did not feel comfortable with this one and will not be seeing her again.

Staff was great, but it's a barrier to access to have to pay for parking.

I am a patient of Dr. (name removed), but he was not available, so I was very thankful to get in with Dr. Mercurio, and she was very thorough, and I appreciated her follow-up. She called me as soon as she had my lab results from the biopsies, and I'm very thankful. And I like that she explains everything. May she continue to be a blessing to all the patients that she has. I like how the receptionist explained to me my copay breakdown. The wait was minimal. The time I spent with the doctor was just right.

I loved it! You would not normally hear that when going in for a woman's health exam but Dr was friendly, kind, heard & addressed my concerns. She made me feel safe & at ease on my first visit with her.
