Keith Cochran MD is board-certified in neurology and subspecializes in movement disorders.

Dr. Cochran enjoys listening to patients explain what troubles them and uses that information, along with what he knows about the nervous system, to address their symptoms and concerns.

“Neurology to me is the most exciting specialty,” says Dr. Cochran, “The nervous system is complex yet intuitive and there are vast opportunities to help those afflicted by neurologic disease and to make advancements in the field.” 

Dr. Cochran chose to pursue a career in medicine because it provides a unique opportunity to use science to make a direct and positive impact on the lives of patients and their families. He believes that his scientific knowledge allows him to improve the quality of life for his patients.  

In his personal time, Dr. Cochran likes to jog, play the piano and watch popular movies.

I was so pleased, couldn't have asked for a better experience. He was very knowledgeable and a great communicator. I'm NOT, but I was as comfortable as I could be under the circumstances. Such a relief to find a doctor like that; there seem to be so few now.

My interaction with office staff was substandard. First, I called to request an order for a B-12 blood test. Instead, the office ordered a refill of my prescription for the B-12. So I had to call again and get than straightened out. Second, I had to wait 40 minutes past my appointment time to see the doctor. I understand things happen that can delay a doctor, but I feel I should be shown the courtesy of being advised that the doctor has a problem and is being delayed, instead of just sitting in the exam room by myself.

While De. Cochran is very busy and it's hard to get an appt, I believe that he's worth the wait. He was attentive, listened to what I had to say, and asked questions. He made me feel like he cared about my well-being.

The office staff was loud, chatty, high pitch laughter dominated, while a patient was struggling with highly elevated BP and hives in the room with office viscinity. Yet the nurses who were in charge of taking my vitals were seriously doing their job. I wish I could remember the name of the particular one who realized that the BP reading fixed on the wall was not working, and she fixed it, by changing the connection.

Dr. Cochran seemed great. My one problem with the office itself is being seated in urgent care that the same waiting room, you know, to go to a different office, you have to wait there or fill out paperwork there. And it's right next to or in the middle of all the people that are waiting for urgent care. That doesn't sound very healthy for someone who's not sick. Okay, thank you.

He needs to learn more. He needs to not be in such a rush. I like USC and UCI better but they don't take Medicare HMO. I Tod Dr. Cochran I need all 200 units of Botox. I saw at least.25 left in the vial. I hope he does better next time.

In my opinion, I would really like the exam to be done sooner because I wanted to make an appointment and they even left it for people. I think it's too long to do the test, so they have to do it for me. It's my opinion that I would like it. that the appointments went faster, thank you.

From the time I entered to check in to the end of my appointment I was treated with kindness and respect. Dr. Cochran was very attentive, didn't diminish my concerns or symptoms and addressed all of my issues, questions and gave a lot of information and reassurance.

Dr. Cochran could not have been kinder and more thoughtful. I did receive a very serious diagnosis, Parkinson's. He did everything to allay my anxiety. He had so many things to show me and tell me and websites. He's got me scheduled to come back as soon as I can with my husband because he wants to answer all our questions. I got bad news medically, but I gained a fantastic doctor. I'm hoping forever.

My experience was good except for the advance check-in process. I got stuck in the advertisements following the check-in. I had to exit out of the website and start over. I understand why you have ads, but this is very, very frustrating.

It was the first time that I'd been there before and everybody was very kind and helpful and ...very considerate. My appointment was fast. The first time I'd seen the doctor, he explained everything, my results and everything, and explained everything very well. I was really impressed and I'm happy with his service. The office staff, from the very start at registration was very nice, then with the doctor and that staff. It was also very nice. Very clean building, very comfortable enough seating. I would say the people at this particular PIH facility treated us better in a better attitude than what was at the PIH with Dr. (name removed). Dr. (name removed) is excellent, but the office staff it varies, it's, some are very good and one lady was just not nice. Anyway, thank you.
