Kind caring professional Doctor who took the time to listen to my issues and help me. Excellent Doctor

Dr Marc was a breath of fresh air. He was so wonderful and put all my nerves at ease. I can't thank him enough for the time he spent with my husband and I. He is my kind of Dr. will be booking with him from here on out!

Dr Melnik is a gem. You are so lucky to have him. I don't have enough room to list all his awesomeness: smart, likable, empathetic, lets you make your own choices, gives lots of options for treatment, makes you feel comfortable even when getting a pelvic exam, funny, kind, remembers me even though he has tons of patients, wants the best for me, treats me as a whole person, explains everything clearly, knowledgeable, caring, gets along great with his staff and they really like him, respectful and an all-around wonderful person. I had an appointment yesterday for a few things, all of which he perfectly dealt with. During my exam, he noticed another issue, which he politely mentioned and quickly assessed. He explained the issue and wrote up a test request. I left his office with everything I needed. And his staff made sure I knew how to schedule the test and have the correct phone number. Great experience. My only gripe with the appointment has nothing to do with Melnik or his staff or the office. It is TIME. Your PIH doctors are not given enough time to be with their patients. These doctors have too many patients scheduled in a day. I expect my doctors to be late. There is nothing wrong with the doctor, but rather these doctors are wonderful and give each patient the time and consideration they need, so they go over the time allotted and make the next patient wait. I plan for a wait and always bring work to do, because I know my time waiting is the doctor's time working with another patient that really need his care. This is true with my PCP too. These doctors need more time to be with us and have a lower daily load. Again, to repeat myself, my only complaint is with the system and not with any person in Melnik's office.

I loved the doctor I saw, it's the first time I felt so comfortable and heard and listened to!

Dr. Marc is the BEST!!

I had to wait an hour and a half for the doctor. I am patient and understanding if someone is going to be late but not 1.5 hrs. If the patient is held to the standards that we shouldn't be late, so should the provider. The provider was courteous but not punctual. I hope this does not happen again.

Dr Melnik is amazing, the front staff is questionable...they were rude. Clearly annoyed to be there.

Amazing OBGYN and experience

Saw Dr. melnik for the first time he is amazing and made me feel a lot better about my pregnancy. He explained all my options and what is to come very well and his kind and glowing demeanor really put my first time mom mind and heart at ease. Best OB I've seen

Yeah, I just feel like one way (INAUDIBLE) get patients into the lobby when I got there, the lady was just like, do you have an appointment? Which just felt really rude, not even a welcome, how can I help you? And then I told her my name and she was like, awesome, you did the check in online, just have a seat. Didn't give me an estimate, didn't say anything else. I did wait a long time. My appointment was I believe at four o'clock. I did get pulled into the room, but then I was sitting in the room for like an hour. So I think if you're running behind, just leave the patient in the lobby. That was really anxiety. I had really bad anxiety just sitting in the room waiting for the doctor to come in. Other than that, I think the provider was amazing. I felt truly seen and heard. I feel like he spent a good quality time with me, was able to truly explain things to an understanding that I understood. And yeah, he did a great job. Definitely recommend him. But yeah, other than that, I think it's just

Hi, I think Dr. Mark Melnick is amazing. I've been seeing him for many years. I think he's just a great doctor period and he always answers all my questions and always be honest with me if I need to find out answers to things. I just think he's amazing and the staff at the PIH and the La Mirada, they're amazing as well. Very friendly and kind and they understand like situations. So I give that office and the doctor, I would rate it a 10. If I could rate it a higher, I would. But I just think he's amazing and the staff is amazing as well.

This provider was very professional, made me feel very comfortable and I would definitely go back to him again.

This was my first time going to the La Mirada location and seeing Dr. Melnik (I live in Whittier so typically go there) but I think I will be going to this location from now on! Dr. Melnik was super friendly and made me feel at ease about why I was there! The staff were friendly as well!

The staff and Dr Melnik were very friendly and approachable. I was nervous coming to this appointment but Dr. Melnik made me feel very comfortable, took his time with me and answered all my questions. Dr. Melnik was great. He has great bedside manners and definitely compassionate. He really did care about my case and was willing to...to help me and was open to listen to...listening to anything I had to say and definitely showed concern as well as I believe it's Alicia, his assistant. She was also great as well and it was a great experience. I was...I really, as weird as it is, I really enjoyed coming to my OBGYN appointment and I will definitely recommend him as he was recommended to me.
