Dr. Gonzalez chose to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology because she enjoys the unique combination of primary care, surgery and delivering babies. Working at a charity clinic in Peru early in her career showed her the true meaning of altruism and the art of caring for people. She loves seeing women transition from young women into mothers. “There is deep connection and trust between a physician and a patient,” Dr. Gonzalez explains. “I strive to be a force of calm energy for my patients. We’re all part of an important mission.” Dr. Gonzalez, a native of New Jersey, met her husband after moving to California. They have two children.

I was able to speak with my provider, Leslie Gonzalez, about some concerns that I had been having for most of my adulthood life. I had never felt safe or comfortable to discuss that with a gynecologist, so once I had the opportunity to do so with her, she answered all of my questions, took all the time that she needed and that she felt I needed, and she validated my concerns and helped me get some answers that I never thought I would receive in such a positive and well-explained way, so I am very grateful that I was able to see her specifically because she was amazing.

The doctor was very good, very good. She explained exactly all my questions that I had and I asked for like a report on some things and she went and she got it for me. She made a copy for me. She was very good.

I felt comfortable and felt that I was in good hands. The only drawback was the length of time I had to wait for an appointmen. I still feel that Dr. Gonzalez was most attentive and caring.

She was very pleasant and understanding to my needs. I was very comfortable with her. Had a good experience & she took care of me. Prescribed an estrogen cream to help relieve my issue.

Took several months to get my first appt for 2nd consult. Her schedule window is not open to make appts in advance as other doctors I've been with.

First of all, when I was explaining it to this provider, or... you know, my concern about my pregnancy to her, and, it seems like she wasn't there. She wasn't even show, like she's there to, you know. So, it was like, I didn't enjoy my visit with her, which was my first time with her. Most of the things I was explaining to her, she didn't even try to help me with, so my situation of my pregnancy, and especially, you know, like, you know, trying to go, you know through maternity, she was not trying to help me

Not greeted upon entry or acknowledged by office staff. After I signed in, I was prompted for payment but nothing else. Very disappointing because this office was very different when I attended with my first pregnancy.

Yes, I like Dr. Gonzalez. I've been following her ever since she had an office in Long Beach and I really, for me as a woman, she listens to what I have to say, she pays attention and for me, she deals with me personally and that I like and that's why I will continue to follow her. Dr Gonzalez was very thorough and detailed when explaining the process of the appointment as well as when answering all my questions. Extremely professional and kind, I wish all doctors treated their patients this way.

It would be nice to be able to move past a situation ... (surgery,past Cancer scare) without always being reminded and asked the same questions by the nurses of whether I have a period when I've mentioned every visit I had a total hysterectomy and was diagnosed with uterine cancer . Why aren't they checking the chart prior to weighing the patient ? The nurse that took my vitals this time was not compassionate whatsoever . I really question the choices people are making with the profession they're choosing ... I'm not one to complain but this one did it for me.

I truly enjoyed my visit at the doctor's office. The staff was amazing. Getting an appointment was easy. Everybody was so friendly. The doctor answered all my questions. I'll definitely recommend her to others, and I'll definitely be back.

I didn't feel heard, I knew something was wrong and no one seemed concerned until the worst was confirmed... preventive care has to do with listening to one's body, I knew something was wrong and no one believed me.

I was not seen on time as the patient before me was being difficult and giving (name removed) (Medical Assistant) a difficult time. Thus, it was not the Office's fault or Dr. Gonzalez that I was not seen on time. Dr. Gonzalez provided me with kind and caring service. This was my first visit with Dr. Gonzalez. I was very pleased with her service.

It was a great experience with Leslie Gonzalez, the doctor, and her staff was terrific. However, continually calling the Women's Center, it took weeks to acquire an appointment, and that's a big no-no with me. But once I got to see her, everything was great. But weeks, and I'm talking weeks to acquire an appointment. This needs to change. Just letting you know, but great experience with the doctor. Lovely, lovely human being, and her staff also. Thank you.

I didn't feel like my health concerns that I brought up were addressed or taken seriously. So I'm not sure I would totally recommend this doctor. It's okay for someone who has absolutely no complications, but if you do have health concerns with a pregnancy, I can't say I feel very heard whenever I see this provider.

It was really challenging to book an appointment with a specific doctor. Usually they are fully booked and you need to call every month to see if any availability opens.

At the end of the consultation, the ladies in the office must take the patients, if they can go home and have to go to the front desk or if they have to schedule an appointment, because they simply leave you in the room.

I was pleasantly surprised I usually have a bad experience with gynecologist but Dr Gonzalez listen to me she understood where I was coming from she was honest up front and compassionate and she paid attention and she did not judge me and the nurses and the nurses at the reception desk was nice so I had a pleasant experience

I like Dr. Gonzalez. You know, very good. She treat me well. But your administration, your office lady is terrible, horrible, I don't like it. They never respond, I call them three months, never respond. You know, I don't like the front desk, reception area, also the scheduling, you know, agent. Thank you.

My experience with Dr. Gonzalez was wonderful. She was calm. She was a wonderful listener and I felt very heard and validated about symptoms that I was experiencing and I really appreciated the time and energy she spent with me at my appointment.
